  1. Hello smx, Ricardo, hey mtuna10 and the guy.  :D

And yeah, welcome to LG DUMB TV CLUB, smx. Nice to see you here, and I hope that you find some time to support our colleagues in the struggle with Korean space technology.  ;)

@mtuna, of course please let me know when you make your TV a little smarter.

@Ricardo, this tool can be used to downgrade TVs LA620 - LA741, so you can try to downgrade your 47LA6900 TV.

Just try and let me know. If you need more help, we will be here to give it to you. BTW What's your location?

  2.

BTW, although my download speed measured via PC is 8.8 Mb/s, the speed measured via LB650V is only slightly above 1.0 Mb/s. Can anybody confirm this as 'normal'?

    I measured the speed here:

    http://testmy.net/

(Manual Test Size --> 50 MB, took about 360 s)

Manual Test Size 200MB - Out of Memory...

Test Download Speed - 20Mbps LG / 40Mbit Laptop/PC. But this test is very unstable compared with Speedtest.net.

  3. Hello mtuna10.  ;)

And... nope, any new ideas, unfortunately. Even our Russian brothers didn't know any good solutions. I do not know what else we can do except just a drink...

In response to your previous post - I had in mind that we send our signal into space, instead of the correct server LG.

It's a fkng joke that LG released a beta firmware which can not be downgraded. Another thing that probably was not designed for your TVs.

I'm damn sorry that I can not help you all.  :(

As a consolation - I talked with a few friends and they have similar problems with their TVs Sony, Panasonic, Philips and Samsung of course.

So guys... let us rejoice that we have a beautiful picture...

  4. It's great hepmisafir, even more lunatics.  :D

I remember your post, but I forgot to answer. Sorry about that. Anyway, you see what is the situation with your UF850x. And I don't think so that different model number may cause downgrade problem. All the time I think the problem is in the wrong configuration of the connection between TV, PC and Internet/LG servers. If we are unable to connect to LG servers, wired connection between PC and TV without router will not help us. I also thought about it, the problem is only in fact that for me everything is working properly, so I can't see how it works for you.

  5. As you can see Tommy, this browser is forgotten, failed joke. Other, more demanding applications work better than this shit. They just work.

In answer to my earlier question - out of memory error during a brief visit to pinterest.

Well LG, maybe you should produce only the washing machines. It's easier to write firmware for them.

  6. hi, i think a buy LG 42lb7200

model tv, can i update this webos 2.0?

    Hi rbarca,

It is not possible to upgrade webOS 1.x to webOS 2.0. And you'd better think carefully, if at all you have to buy LG. Please read forum before. There are many problems with webOS 1.x and also 2.0. If you need a TV to watch movies and television, you'll be pleased. But if you need a good Smart TV, do not do this, because Smart TV by LG = fucking shitty Dumb TV. Don't waste your money. It's better to wait a bit and buy something else, otherwise you will spend many days on this forum...
