  1. I tried mobile hotspot ,didnt work. Tried DNS 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 ,didnt work. Turned offIPV6.1 ,didnt work . Thanks for the suggestions , but I'm still looking for a solution. Factory reset only made my problem worse . I started with problem reinstalling Hulu , now all my apps need updating and none of them will run untill I do.
  2. I have the same problem with my OLED55CXAUA TV, Apps weren't able to update I got the same error message. I had a problem with Hulu so I uninstalled it. After that I couldn't re-download Hulu app. I did a computer chat with LG techs several times. The last chat after having me do all the standard fixes , the tech accessed my computer remotely . After a long wait he said I needed to do factory reset. Thats what I did. well that made things much worse. Now because all the apps were older ,they all needed to be updated ,so now I could use any of my streaming apps. So now I have to stream with Amazon firestick ,TV apps are useless. It only gets worse. The LG tech said that's all he could do remotely ,I needed an onsite tech to come to my house to check it . But because it is 17 months old I would have to pay for repair. In addition to that I bought it at Costco . They give a 2nd year extension of factory warrantee , plus I have an additional 3 years of Allstate service contract. I called Costco to have them repair it . They said it's not covered because it's a software issue and they don't cover software issues . So I called LG tech and asked if they would have fixed it under warrantee if it was under 12 months old . He said they definitely would have. So I called Costco back and if they are extending factory warrantee why won't they cover it if LG would have. They gave me some double talk but still refuse to do anything. So I'm stuck with a smart TV that now is the same as any regular TV. Both corporations LG and Costco are at fault I'm stuck in the Middle.

  5. After latest update sound reverts from Hdmi Arc to internal speakers . I holds for awhile after I change it but eventually it reverts back to internal speakers. It only just started after software update 4.30.10 . Tv is Oled55cxaua
  6. I'm using Ethernet , WIFI not reliable . I don't expect 495Mbps to TV but I only get 5Mbps with Fast speedtest and 18 with Ookla . Netflix says you need 25 Mbps for 4K streaming. I did see in post someone used a usb to ethernet adapter . I got one from Amazon and connected through it. Going through USB my speed increased to 15-25 Mbps with FAST and 50 Mbps with Ookla. When I check network settings it say both wired not connected , but it works with Netflix and other Apps . I could live with that , but I dont think I should have to use a $15 adapter to work around an ethernet connection on a brand new high end TV. And I'm not sure if any other internet apps would be affected. Thanks for your reply , I appreciate any help.
  7. I bought a OLED55CXPUA and the ethernet was only getting 5Mbps using Fast test , and 18Mbps using Ookla test . I get 495 Mbps when connecting ethernet to PC ,so Spectrum said its not their router. I called LG support 3 times and couldn't solve issue , so I returned TV and bought a OLED55CXAUA at Costco. I get exactly the same ethernet speeds. I'm not very experienced with network issues , so I would appreciated any input. I did get an email from LGCareCenter saying "Regarding this one, we have received an update from our specialists. The maximum speed of an LG TV when wirelessly connected to a home network is 1.3 Gbps or 1300 Megabits per second. If 1.3Gbps is supplied via Cat 5 (hardline) speed test may not show that as actual speed available, but please do take note that the unit will only take what it needs to stream or surf the net. If you stream a movie and it buffers, please try to run a speed test using the URL of www.fast.com. If speed shows say 5 Mbps, please check the router settings for Priority settings." Does this sound accurate , I do get about 50Mbps over WIFI so why wouldn't WIFI show the same speed results unless its only ethernet that only takes the speed needed for steaming. I contacted LG support again and they said a tech would have to come to diagnose and if its not a TV defect I would have to pay for service . The TV is only 10 days old.
