  1. Are you you've never had an update? There's an update on the U.S. version dated January 2017.
  2. No, I never use WiFi if I don't have to as a wired connection is always better & faster.
  3. Ended up having to reset my TV...twice. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling apps but didn't work. The first TV reset work, but I was then getting a popping sound when hitting "back" in all the apps; so had to do another reset to fix that too. I've had this TV for 3 months, and I've had to reset the TV at least twice each month. Getting tired of these resets to fix problems.
  4. I have my B6 OLED on the latest firmware since it came out early May. All of my movie content yesterday stopped working...all of them. Amazon, HULU, Netflix, Google, YouTube, VUDU: none of my movies will play. When you start a movie, I only get the initial loading and then most of the apps just a blank screen with nothing else occurring. In the Netflix app, I can get a progress display slowly up to 25% and then it stops. In Google and YouTube, I'll get a not authorized to play this content message. But while still in YouTube, video content plays fine; just my movie purchases won't play. It's not my internet as the same apps play just fine from other devices and I have a 85 Mbps download. I haven't reset the TV yet as I wanted to see if anyone else is having the same problem before I have to go redo all my custom video settings and reinstall apps.
  5. Just like the title states: I want the video apps (particularly VUDU) to be able to stream the Dolby Atmos signal over the HDMI ARC back to my receiver. I have a OLEDB6.
  6. I'm not getting any audio from the apps via the HDMI via ARC connection to my receiver. This occurred two weeks ago and was unable to resolve it, but ironically there was new firmware released that same day for my B6 (3/31/17) and this fixed the issue. However, now I again can't get it working after a TV reset and tinkering with the audio settings again. I tried to load the firmware again, but it appears this is not possible to forceable load the same firmware.
  7. I've had similar problem since I've had my TV (less than 30 days) where the TV can't seem to distingish my Comcast X1 and Nexus Player that is connected via my receiver, all via the HDMI ARC. It constantly wants to switch to the Nexus Player for some reason. I've disconnected my Nexus Player since. I also installed new 3-31-17 firmware today to fix some other issues, but haven't reconnected my Nexus Player to test that issue.
  8. Good news, as I have at least now having DD 5.1 working from the YouTube app now. It still won't work in the Play Movies app. I've had the TV short of a month now. Since then, I have it two times were I wasn't getting any video signal from my HMDI3/UHD bluray player. I had to reset the TV each time. Last night I went to try and watch some Netflix and discovered I wasn't getting any audio out the ARC HMDI to my receiver; none of the apps. I reset the TV again, tinkered with settings, did it all again this morning to no avail. After working on it this morning, I went to go download the manual to double-check all the TV settings and noticed a new firmware was just released yesterday. After installing the new firmware, I was able to get my audio out the ARC HDMI again. Since I hadn't logged back into my apps after the last reset, I went to check Play Movies and YouTube and found that Dolby Digital 5.1 was now working out of the YouTube app. http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-OLED65B6P#manuals
  9. Is anyone else having this same problem and let me know so I can determine where the problem is and who to contact to fix it: I can't get any Dolby Digital 5.1 audio output from either YouTube or the Google Play Movies apps. They will only output DD 2.0. It is not a problem with the movies themselves, as I have double-checked all my movie contents from my Nexus Play to validate. It also doesn't appear to be the the TV or WebOS 3.0, as all my other TV apps are not experiencing this problem, and I get Dolby Digital 5.1 output just fine. I have updated the firmware on my TV, uninstalled & reinstalled the apps to check, and still no good. I've chatted with Google support but got a Tier 1 support person who didn't have a clue or help. This person suggested I contact my speaker manufacturer which was a ridiculous response. Below are my versions... LG OLED65B6P WebOS 3.0 04.30.65 YouTube 1.0.27 Google Play Movies 1.0.20
