  5. I used to have a JBL soundbar, connected via ARC. Now I switched to Denon soundbar again with ARC connection. But my tv doesn't turn off now, although all other functions are working fine on the remote. Any idea?

But even with all that, poor customer service can destroy a brand’s reputation and the loyalty it took years to build. LG knows this well and is stepping up its game in customer service on a global scale. The goal is to create a standout customer experience by applying its proven customer care expertise from home to abroad. This year marks the start of a new chapter, with HiTeleservice – LG’s customer service arm – setting up a robust support system to help boost the performance of LG’s service centers worldwide. HiTeleservice’s expert Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) will take the lead, sharing their knowledge and skills in customer service practices, talent development and operational strategies internationally. The plan is to iron out any differences in service quality that come from cultural and operational variances, aiming for consistently high service standards everywhere LG operates. STT/TA is also capable of understanding the context of the service call and proposing optimal solutions. Furthermore, LG intends to launch its ‘AI Voicebot,’ an autonomous service call solution presently in the development phase, within the year. This service is designed to handle straightforward inquiries during peak service call times or when calls are experiencing delays.   10. Recently live channels stopped working with an error every 2-3 seconds. Older media is still playing. Now I noticed that new media like today's news aren't playing either. Same error. News from Friday 3rd may still work. Have tried on 2 LG tvs.. Oled from 2018 and LCD from 2020
  11. After last 13.30.61 update my iptv apps plays just channels for 30 seconds and the pauses. I have used ss iptv app and smart iptv. On my Samsung TV all works fine using the same apps
  12. I tried to do this and no apparently you can’t. For some strange reason LG won’t let you install a VPN.

Have an LG55Nano which works well apart from when on specific BBC shows whereby whenever there is a switch if camera, say from contestants to host and vice versa, there is an extremely annoying flickering motion that takes place. May sound petty but any visitors comment on how distracting it can be. Happens constantly on Richard Osmans House of Games, Impossible, Pointless and similar BBC programmes. Reported it but was told I had to get video clips for them to assist despite it being less than a year old. Life's too short. Any advice very welcome.
  14. I found a way to boost my download speed! I went into the connection settings on my TV and switched the IP address to manual. Then, I entered a custom IP address that works on my network instead of using the automatic setting. This bumped up my download speed from 7 MB to 22 MB! Just make sure the IP address you choose isn't already in use on your network.

  16. Just sent an email to Para+ customer support about this issue. Got an automated response saying we read all emails but due to high volume we cannot respond to you. So basically it went into the auto-trash folder. Will try calling tomorrow if I can find a phone number.
  17. Been looking for reasons why this is happening. Paramount+ works fine on my FireTV stick but on LG webOS it freezes regularly. I will do a full power reset of everything (Modem, router, TV, Fire stick, etc) and it will work for a while then start freezing again. We have taken to using the Fire stick again just because of this issue. Happened again as recently as last night. Hopefully they will figure this out so we can retire the Fire stick. Hope you have received some type of help from Para+.
  18. I have an LG 2022 tv that I connected with Alexa. Alexa can change the channel of the tv and turn it off, but when I say “Alexa, turn on the tv” she says “TV isn’t responding. Please check its network connection and power supply.” How can I get the tv to listen to Alexa even when it’s off?

The Pioneer of Abstraction Finding His Voice in New York Kim is a pioneer of Korean abstract art and best known for his works that epitomize archetypal Korean aesthetics. His artistic pilgrimage – from Korea to Japan, France and ultimately America – has shaped his signature style of pure lyrical abstraction derived from nature, which had a profound influence on generations of abstract painters in Korea. He has been a highly sought-after name in the art market as his works make up nine of the top ten highest-priced artworks by modern Korean artists sold at auction, among which all were completed in New York in his signature “all-over dot” style. Presenting Kim’s works in New York holds immense significance because it was the city where he finally reached the epitome of his artistic identity with the conception of this unique “all-over dot” painting technique. It was the resulting mastery of the artist tirelessly experimenting with a multitude of materials, techniques and styles, aiming to achieve harmony in color and pattern while capturing the elegance of Asian ink paintings. He was inspired by memories from his homeland and the bustling New York art scene where he cavorted with American painters including Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman. In turn, he became an inspiration to the next generation of Korean American artists like Nam June Paik (1932-2006). New York was where Kim shot for the stars – he held a total of six solo exhibitions in the city in his lifetime with the last one presented a year before his passing in 1974. LG OLED Continuing the Celebration of Kim Whanki’s Legacy A total of five abstract masterpieces created during Kim Whanki’s New York period and digitally expressed by a new generation of artists today, will be on view at the LG OLED Lounge at Frieze New York 2024. The group of Korean multimedia artists – including Je Baak, professor at Seoul National University College of Fine Arts; Verseday, a media art creator group; Mano Ahn, CEO of Ahn Graphics; and Jason Kim, CEO of BESIGN – took tremendous care to understand the artist’s intention when he first created the artwork so that they could capture the essence of each piece. This approach revealed richer details and enhanced visual effects in lighting, colors and clarity enabled by LG’s self-lit OLED technology, while preserving Kim’s original artistic intentions.   22. Milan Design Week, the world’s largest and most well-known design and furniture fair, is a mecca for the aesthetically-inclined. At this year’s event, the biennially-held EuroCucina exhibition put the spotlight on the latest trends in kitchen appliances and furnishings, with many of the industry’s major players taking part. A regular at Milan Design Week, LG delivered a stunning showcase of premium built-in kitchen appliances at a booth designed by GamFratesi, the acclaimed architecture and design studio co-founded by Italian Enrico Fratesi and Denmark’s Stine Gam.   23. It may be a software glitch or firmware problem. Since you've tried most basic measures, I have to recommend a reset factory, but that is too harsh, first contact the support team and see what they have to offer.

My tv is acting strangely after there was a software update (sometime between April 10-15,2024) randomly turning off and on -- many times within a few minutes remote works some of the time or only certain buttons goes to a colored screen i.e. purple, yellow, light blue with no image just color sudden annoying continuous, high pitch sound like an alarm Checked and reset the cable box and called cable company. Unplugged and plugged tv back in. Change the HDMI input It is becoming very frustrating.
