Error in comand ares-install

PepeSan

Question

Please I need your help, I am installing my application on my lg tv through the command ares-install --device LG_TV ./[my_package].ipk.

It had been working for a long time without a problem but today out of nowhere it shows me the following error:

ERR! ares-install: Error: Command '/bin/rm -rf /media/developer/temp && /bin/mkdir -p /media/developer/temp' exited with code=1 (signal: undefined)

The web os version on my tv is 05.30.30

I really appreciate any feedback 🙏

Thank you very much Assia R, the solution you propose also worked for me.
I have two comments to help other people who run into this problem:
1. In my case the problem was because I had to use the latest CLI version on my computer to make it compatible when installing the .ipk file on the LG display from the console, downloading and replacing the CLI folder does the job. update

2. It is important to mention that when the CLI folder is replaced, the installation commands remain in an internal "bin" folder, inside the "CLI" folder, for this reason if you wanted to check your version from your console you would have to execute the command while inside the path that includes your "bin" folder, so that it is recognized as a valid command, I leave a picture of the command and my folder structure.

I recently downloaded the Lionsplay app on my webOS TV to watch my favorite Lionsgate movies and TV shows, but unfortunately, the app is not working correctly. Every time I try to play any content, I receive a playback error message, and the video does not play.
I have tried troubleshooting the issue by restarting the app and my TV, but the problem persists. I even contacted the Lionsgate support team, but they were unable to resolve the issue. They informed me that the app is not currently supported on webOS devices and suggested that I try using the app on a different device.
This is disappointing since I was looking forward to watching my favorite Lionsgate content on my TV. If you are using webOS, I would not recommend downloading the Lionsplay app until the app is fully supported on this platform. It's frustrating to encounter playback errors, and it ruins the viewing experience.
Overall, I hope Lionsgate addresses this issue soon so that webOS users can enjoy their content on the platform. Until then, I suggest trying other platforms to access the Lionsplay app to watch your favorite content.

I have a rooted LG C1. Is it possible somehow to read data from the light ambient sensor? I tried searching in /dev, /proc/, sys/bus, but there's a lot of clutter in there.

I am trying to setup my new Phonak my hearing aids TV Connector with my new LG GP2 TV and Sonos Arc sound bar, connected by via the HDMI eArc port.   The TV automatically uses the the HDMI eArc port, and that port only.  As a result no signal goes through the optical out port of the LG TV.
Is there a way to make the LG TV sound signal simultaneously go out to both the sonud bar via eArc port and to the Phak TV Connector via the optical out port so that I can connect hearing aids to the Phonak TV connector and also use the Sonos Arc soundbar at the same time?
      Appreciate any guidance.
      Thanks, M55

      Hey guys,
While I have Sonos Beam gen2 connected to my LG 65C12LA via HDMI (eARC) I can’t select any other output device e.g. bluetooth headphones. I can technically select it in TV menu for like 5 seconds, and then output switched back to HDMI (eARC). Is it a bug or feature?
      Thanks in advance!
