and we plan on going out in style! We will have ALL the founding members of WOR with us (me, Dan, Roy, Jesse, and Ryan) so you know there will be craziness. Also, we have tons of free app codes to give away from some of the top developers on webOS for those who join us this evening.

We also wanted to extend the offer to be on the podcast. If you were a contributor (there are quite a few of you out there), a huge fan or just have a great story about WOR or webOS in general, we want to hear it! Just record a little audio bit (up to 2 minutes) and email it to me at david at webosroundup dot com. We will select the best entries and add them in as a little remembrance section of the podcast. We may be able to find something special for you in return…no promises though.

We will be accepting entries until Monday April, 16th, so be sure to get them in.

We are all looking forward to tonight at 9pm eastern and we hope to see you all there!

Just bought an LGLED-65UJ630 65INCH TV. Right away I started to get the message "This app will now restart to free up more memory". After searching the internet and forums, I now understand that this problem is huge, it has been going on for years now and it is right across many models of LG TV's.
I have tried everything to fix this problem. It has the latest firmware. I did the factory reset and that lasted 4 hours before I got the message back. I turn off the TV and leave it for 10 minutes, maybe one hour later I get the message. I delete browsing history, maybe 10 minutes and I get the message..... you get the message.
As I understand it, the problem is that LG TV's don't have enough internal memory, but they have shipped a ton of their "smart" TV's with this problem.
My question is, has anybody heard anything from anybody, anywhere about a solution to this problem. I really want to keep this TV, but it is not fit for purpose in this state.

      Dear all,
I really need to verify my understanding on how the whole Record / Play and Live TV works.
I own  a brand new OLED 65GX6LA TV of which I am very satisfied with picture quality and all but...
I have noticed that when I am watching a program that I am recording and use Time machine to go back to some past bits, when the record has finished I am kicked out of my viewing and I need to go back to the list of recordings to start again and then I need to look for the place where I was. Additionally I can't record a program from the satellite tuner and watch from the terrestrial Tuner (or viceversa) even though they are separate tuners.
To me it looks that the current Record / Play and Pause Live TV functionality has been implemented using a single memory buffer which doesn't allow any of the above.
Is my assumption correct or is there anything that I haven't done in my set up that makes it so limiting?
      Many thanks,  Nic.

Asking if someone can tell me what Live Streaming TV services are compatible with LG smart TV?

      LG 55SM8050PLC (2020)
I added a programme to the favourites list and since then the TV continually flashes between a programme and the 'Live TV' symbol shown in the Home display.
No input from the remote control is accepted, the flashing continues.
Tried turning the power off and restarting, no change.
Turning TV off and on, bo change.
Leaving it off or on, no change.
