      SEOUL, Sep. 8, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) is releasing a limited-edition UltraGear OLED gaming monitor (model 27GR95QL) for League of Legends fans. In addition to a vibrant 27-inch OLED display boasting a fast 240Hz refresh rate, the monitor features distinctive League of Legends-themed designs and icons applied to its exterior and on-screen menus, developed with valuable feedback from League of Legends gamers. As one would expect of an UltraGear product, the 27GR95QL delivers smooth, immersive gaming experiences and comes packed with gamer-centric features.
      The limited-edition League of Legends UltraGear OLED gaming monitor is the latest example of LG’s strong partnership with Riot Games, the developer and publisher of League of Legends. First released in 2009, the beloved multiplayer online battle arena game now has the largest gaming fandom in all of esports. Over 600 million fans have played League of Legends over the past decade and the game has amassed an average of 180 million players per month.
      Designed with League of Legends enthusiasts in mind and ideal for competitive play, the 27GR95QL provides a generous 27-inch screen size, a high refresh rate and a response time of just 0.03 milliseconds Gray-to-Gray (GTG). The monitor’s QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution OLED display also supports HDR10 and covers 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, helping to bring gameplay to life with vivid, accurate colors, sharp detail and great contrast.
      LG’s limited-edition UltraGear OLED gaming monitor adopts the Hextech-themed design of League of Legends, incorporating icons and imagery from the game into its menu screens and on its bold, stylish exterior.       Can't find a way to cast media to my smart tv

      Is there a way to fix this? There's a Samsung smart tv in my household that windows 7 recognizes and can cast to, but the LG WEBOS OLED TV is not even discoverable on the network and it is connected to WiFi. I know this tv is connected because in order to use AirPlay you have to be on the same WiFi. All my devices use the same WiFi connection. I can see all my devices except for the LG TV.

      Better subtitle handling/options (saving Code Page&transparent background)

      I have LB650V webOS TV and it is very annoying having to reselect the (Latin 2) subtitle encoding (Code Page) every time when playing the movie. Absolutely no excuse not to save the last used choice for the subtitle Code Page so I hope it will be implemented in the future firmware updates.
       
      And one more thing about the subtitles: the options to turn on the transparent background and/or the character outlines has to be done - to improve the readability.

      LG UHD 4K TV reboots when being used as a monitor and watching videos

      I bought a new LG 43uq7590pub (43" 4K UHD) TV three months ago, with the intent of using it as a computer monitor.
      Configuration is as follows:
      Running it in Gaming Mode Computer is set for 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) Connected via HDMI cable to my computer (don't have the cable stats in front of me) Computer's video card is set to a 60Hz refresh rate When watching streaming videos from the local computer (YouTube, MAX, Netflix, etc), the TV will randomly go black and restart. There is no warning (audio/video slowdowns or distortions/glitches) before it does so. After restarting, it continues to run normally. Anything over 30-45min and it will likely restart.  
      I'm not using wifi/internet locally on the TV, so that is not (or shouldn't be) the issue. 
      I'm wondering if running the computer's video AND audio over the HDMI cable is too much for the TV, and that's causing the restarts after a while. I have a separate MIDI/audio interface that I usually run the computer's audio OUT of, to a pair of external speakers. This is a whole new computer setup, so I don't have that in place yet; just wondering if taking that workload OFF of the TV/HDMI might help.
      Are there any event logs within the TV OS that might indicate what is happening?
      Anyone else experience anything similar?

      Cannot open settings or streaming apps

      I can't open settings on my LG B9 55" either from the remote (results in black screen) or from menu system (same). Also, when I click on any streaming app, nothing happens although the buttons on the remote otherwise work. I would like to try a factory reset, but can't do this without accessing the system menu. If you know how to factory reset without the menu or otherwise know a fix, please let me know!
