This commitment extends into local communities, where LG promotes smarter, more energy-efficient lifestyles in line with its “Life’s Good When You Live Smart” message. Through simple yet meaningful tips and people-centered programs, the company shows how small, thoughtful actions can lead to long-lasting positive change.
For the third year in a row, LG Serbia and Bulgaria held their annual service campaign in June – offering free servicing for out-of-warranty devices, sharing everyday usage tips and showcasing innovative technologies. Now a widely recognized event, the LG Service Caravan visited Kraljevo, Subotica and Kragujevac in Serbia, as well as Blagoevgrad, Shumen and Ruse in Bulgaria, spreading the message of smarter living.
With sustainability top of mind, this year’s campaign focused on energy efficiency. Visitors discovered how LG’s smart technologies not only simplify daily routines but also help reduce energy costs and support environmental care. As in previous years, visitors could receive free check-ups and repairs for LG devices – whether under warranty or not.* LG specialists were available to provide consultations, technical support and live demonstrations of smart solutions that combine cutting-edge energy efficiency with outstanding performance.
In Serbia, the two-day event featured fun quizzes with prizes for children and dedicated adult workshops on energy-saving practices. In Bulgaria, the family-friendly activities included a kids’ corner with oversized educational puzzles and interactive games about smart home efficiency, while adults participated in a quiz using the innovative LG CreateBoard, showing how small steps can have a big impact – both at home and for the planet.
LG Serbia and Bulgaria took an active role in delivering this year’s campaign, championing the “Life’s Good When You Live Smart” message to customers and the broader public.
At the heart of LG’s approach is the belief that technology should be not only innovative and appealing, but also beneficial to households, communities and the planet. This year’s service tour placed a spotlight on energy efficiency and sustainability – highlighting how choosing smarter appliances can help individuals and families make a real difference.
As part of this commitment, LG Serbia and Bulgaria donated an interactive LG TV to a local primary school in each city visited. This initiative supports digital education while promoting sustainable practices that reduce energy use and help create a more dynamic, modern and visually engaging learning environment.

The renowned three-day celebration of food, wine and culture, features more than 40 cooking demonstrations, 70 chefs and beverage experts and immersive tasting experiences hosted by FOOD & WINE magazine. As the exclusive appliance partner of the prestigious event, SKS (formerly Signature Kitchen Suite) took center stage. The luxury built-in kitchen brand hosted more than 4,000 visitors at the SKS demonstration kitchen inside the Grand Tasting Pavilion, treating them to immersive culinary experiences and sharing the essence of the SKS “True to Food” philosophy.
Throughout the three days of this year’s FOOD & WINE Classic, SKS served up a stellar menu of cooking demonstrations, chef-led tastings and interactive sessions showcasing the artistry and precision of the brand’s modern luxury cooking appliances. SKS Executive Chef Nick Ritchie captivated audiences with his rendition of Sous Vide Colorado Lamb Chops with Mostarda di Frutta. His delectable demonstration also provided attendees with an up-close look at how SKS technology can elevate both flavor and aroma while giving each ingredient the respect it deserves.
One of the main highlights was the culinary seminar, Mark Bittman’s in Hot Water – Turning Up the Heat on Sous Vide, Steam and Searing, led by Bittman and Chef Ritchie. This session offered an in-depth exploration of the advanced techniques that can be used when cooking with SKS’s award-winning appliances that empower home chefs to achieve restaurant-quality results in their own kitchens.
SKS booth visitors enjoyed a variety of chef-crafted dishes, such as ricotta dumplings with hen sauce, a duet of savory chocolate truffles and Smokeye Hill Huckleberry Sour cocktails served over SKS Craft Ice. Supporting these delicious experiences were key SKS luxury kitchen appliances, including the 48-inch Dual-Fuel Pro Range and the 36-inch Induction Cooktop, which boasts industry-leading power and heating precision. Hi,
I recently bought an LG UK6500PLA TV (my first LG), but I have a difficult time streaming content (Wifi connected), e.g. Netflix series is streaming in low resolution. The router is only 10 feet away from TV (but ethernet is not an option) and uses a 5GH frequency range.
I have tried making a speed test at fast.com, for both the TV (through the Webbrowser) and for my laptop and iPhone. The speed test for TV showed 2.5 Mbps and my laptop and iPhone showed 110 Mbps. Can there really be such a big difference? I am starting to wonder if this might be a warranty issue?
Do any of you guys have experience with bad Wifi reception on your LG TV or have any suggestions on how to fix it?
Br,
Nick

The marathon craze is sweeping the globe, fueled by the simplicity and accessibility of running, which requires little more than a pair of decent running shoes to embark on a journey toward a healthier lifestyle. Fully embracing this trend, LG offices worldwide are hosting “LG Life’s Good Run” events to inspire communities to come together and prioritize their physical health and fitness in fun and engaging ways.
Earlier this year, LG Thailand presented the

As an official sponsor, LG Thailand inspired the people of Thailand to take joy in exercising by running together in an environment that exudes positive energy. The event was hosted in collaboration with the Step Challenge Association, Thailand’s Department of Health, Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Athletics Association of Thailand and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to set a new benchmark for international competition events. Attracting over 7,000 participants, “Kao Ta Jai 10K Thailand Championship 2024” garnered significant interest from health-conscious individuals and 500 LG members in Thailand participated in this marathon. The high level of engagement reflects a growing awareness among Thai people about the importance of taking care of one’s health and demonstrates how Life’s Good when the community gathers together to share the joy of exercise.
This marathon craze can be witnessed in all four corners of the globe, including another Southeast Asian country. In a remarkable showcase of community spirit and determination, LG Malaysia recently hosted its first-ever “LG Life’s Good Run” at Anjung Floria, Putrajaya. The event drew more than 3,000 runners, each one embodying the Life’s Good spirit through a shared journey of good health and positive, self-improving challenges.
More than just a race, the LG Life’s Good Run encourages pros and amateurs alike to embark on a journey of self-discovery, where every step brings them closer to the healthier, more fulfilling life they deserve. The children’s category has been introduced so that young runners can take on their greatest personal challenge yet, aiming to foster resilience and determination from an early age.
Prizes were awarded to the top three finishers across six categories: Men’s Open (aged 16–39 years), Men’s Veteran (aged 40 years and above), Men’s (Non-Malaysian) (aged 16 years and above), Women’s Open (aged 16–39 years), Women’s Veteran (aged 40 years and above), and Women’s (Non-Malaysian) (aged 16 years and above). The prizes included some of the company’s best-sellers, including the LG WashTower, 65-inch LG OLED TV and LG InstaView refrigerator.
The event also featured engaging side quests in the carnival area, a hub of excitement and anticipation. Captivating product displays, traditional Korean games and Instagrammable product zones were also set up, delighting runners and their support teams – friends and family – by making the whole experience even more unforgettable.
LG East Africa is also championing healthy lifestyles through a shared passion for running by joining its distribution partner, OPALNET, to aid this year’s “Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon”, Kenya’s premier running event which attracts over 25,000 participants from across the globe every year without fail.
The added benefit of hosting a marathon is the opportunity to raise millions of dollars for several charities. The Nairobi Marathon donates large amounts of its proceeds to deserving initiatives set up to improve the lives of marginalized groups, such as people with disabilities, disadvantaged youth and women. The goal is to promote various educational, employment and community-enriching opportunities that wouldn’t be possible without a significant amount of funding.
The two companies presented KES 1.7 million (USD 13,000) worth of electronics to support the event, including five 65-inch TVs and eight XBOOM speakers to be used along the 42-kilometer-long course. Some products were even given as prizes to the winners.
This generous contribution was part of a wider sponsorship group, with LG and OPALNET joining 40 other sponsors to collectively raise a grand total of KES 173 million (USD 1.3 million), giving the event even greater meaning and influence in the region.
The large-scale marathon also helped consumers better understand the outstanding capabilities of LG products by experiencing their cutting-edge features firsthand. It was equally as beneficial for the local LG employees taking part, as they were able to directly contribute to Kenya’s sports culture and community development.
Finally, with running one of the fastest-growing hobbies in Korea, in large part thanks to the rising number of running clubs, a number of LG employees recently volunteered as pace makers for frame runners with disabilities at the “2024 JTBC Seoul Marathon”, one of the nation’s biggest marathons. The company also demonstrated its ESG vision of Better Life for All by participating in the marathon challenge for people with brain lesions.
With the running trend set to stay, LG’s recent initiatives have focused on strengthening the power of community and spreading the importance of bettering one’s physical and mental well-being.

In fact, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations estimates that as much as 733 million people suffer from hunger due to various factors such as weather shocks, conflicts, economic downturns, inequality and pandemics.
To bring more attention to global hunger, malnutrition and food insecurity, the FAO assigned October 16 as World Food Day. Under this year’s theme, “Right to Foods for a better life and a better future,” the FAO created a video illustrating the production and sharing of food across different cultures while highlighting that access to a diverse range of safe, nutrient-rich foods should be a human right.
