      SEOUL, May 10, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) has launched its newest UltraGear gaming monitor (model 49GR85DC), a curved 49-inch display with a 32:9 aspect ratio and an ultra-high 240Hz refresh rate. Like having two 16:9 monitors side by side, the impressive new model delivers the silky-smooth gameplay and top-notch picture quality needed for immersive gaming experiences. While designed with gamers in mind, the 49GR85DC is also suitable for productivity or viewing content thanks to its advanced multitasking functionality and extra-wide screen.
      Featuring a 49-inch Dual QHD (5,120 x 1,440) resolution panel with a 1000R curvature, LG’s new UltraGear gaming monitor provides sharp, vibrant images that fill the user’s field of vision. The combination of the monitor’s generous screen width and 240Hz refresh rate1 helps create an expansive and more responsive game environment – making titles feel more real and dynamic. VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified, the 49GR85DC also has a 3000:1 contrast ratio and a 1000-nit peak brightness2, producing vivid colors and deep, nuanced blacks.       Custom aspect ratio for LG OLED TV screen size (48-inch or less)

      Good Morning, There is a recommended minimum distance between the TV and the viewer. I bought an LG OLED C155 last month and it is uncomfortable from a distance. It was my mistake. I bought it without worrying about visual comfort. Is it possible to reduce the screen's usable area to simulate a screen size TV of 48 inches or less, accepting the black borders that would be created? It would be something similar to a custom aspect ratio. The idea would be to be able to simulate a smaller screen size than the purchased equipment. other-bigger->65->55->48->other-less

      I have a OLED65C9PLA and just updated the ITV Hub app to ITVX.  The app runs but the picture has the wrong aspect ratio and is displayed on the right two thirds of the screen. Any ideas?

      Hello my tv is connected to an XBOX one and is in the aspect ratio "16'9" this is not the aspect ratio I would like as it does not fit my tv and makes it all  blurry so I can not read anything and when I go to aspect ratio it give me every other option except "full wide" which is the exact one I need. Whenever I go to click on "full wide" it moves me to the one right underneath it . I do not know how my tv ended up doing this , but it has been like this for almost a week. And whenever I search up how to fix it ,"resolution" is the only thing that comes up and apparently I need to change that but whenever I watch a video on how to do that its either, a newer version of the LG tv or has more options than my tv .       Aspect Ratio problems

      Hi All.... I use SS-IPTV player on an LG TV running Webos 5.2.0: I can't change the display format (16:9, 4:3, original, zoom, etc.): I need it because some channels are shown with the zoom (so a part of the image is not visible) or in 4:3, (leaving huge black bands on the sides), while I I would like to set them to 16:9, which I actually do... but it has no effect. I also tryed to use other iptv players for testing, but I have the same problem... I couldn't solve .... Maybe it's a not very compatible version of webos? (I use the same ss-iptv on another old tv with webos 3.8.0 and everything works perfectly, (indeed, in that case I don't even need to change aspect ratio because all channels are perfectly displayed in 16:9) has anyone had the same problem or know how to fix it? or the attempts I could make? Thank you!
