Watchdog service to open a video from a connected source (USB preferred)

Hello everyone,

I just started to play with the SDK and I'm wondering if what I have in mind is feasible:

I'd like to create a watchdog service in my LG tv, this service will be invoked from an external device (I'd say my phone through a custom app).

The service call will include a parameter that indicates the file to open from the USB drive.

First, I'd like to understand if it's feasible, then any suggestion would be welcome.

Regards,

Simone

Hey, I have 3 NAS (DLNA) successfully connected to my OLED65C97LA since months and from one day to another all three have the same issue. So I must be a bug in LG TV? But I do not know what to do?
      - I can click on all 3 DLNA and its open a choice box for "music" or "image and video".
      - Click on all 3 DLNA for "music" and I get access to this DLNA and see my music files and can play it.
      - Click on all 3 DLNA für "image and video" and I get now only a black screen. I can move the cursor and open menus, but DLNA is black.
Am I the only one with this problem?

Initially would search and find 3 networks (Testra Air, the correct one and one other??) but would not connect.
Reset our router (turn off then turned on again  and waited) but now no networks are even found to attempt to connect to.
Any suggestions what my next step should be?  This has happened suddenly.  Thanks

I recently updated the firmware on my  LG43UH610V.  Now I constantly get "Wired Lan cable disconnected" / "Wired network is connected" messages even while watching a video file from my NAS. The TV is connected and using the network while getting these messages. It has always been on a fixed IP address on the LAN.
