PreCentral: Mobile Nations Fitness Month round up!

Recommended Posts

Mobile Nations Fitness Month

The month may be over, but the Mobile Nations quest to use our phones and tablets, apps and accessories to get stronger, faster, and healthier continues!

February was fitness month at Mobile Nations, the month we sought to keep our new year's hopes and dreams of thinner waistlines and fitter bodies alive. Week after week we picked reasonable, attainable goals and strove to keep them -- eating less and better, moving farther and more frequently, lifting more than ever before.

From to , from to to , we checked out all the best ways to use our phones and tablets to improve our mobile lives, and all the top apps and accessories focused on our health and fitness. And you did it right along with us in our forums!

So here we are, at the end of the month, having achieved tremendous successes, suffered occasional setbacks, but sticking together and seeing it through. And this is far from the end -- we're going to keep covering eHealth/iHealth and eFitness/iFitness year round. We're also going to focus on health and fitness again, and we're going to bring in some experts to help us bring you even better, more helpful coverage.

But for now it's time to enjoy a well deserved break. A cheat meal. A rest between sets. Take a seat, crack open a shake, and relax. Here's your Mobile Nations fitness month round up!

Is there any way to delete the preinstalled apps?   I particularly hate the "LG Channels" app because if I were to click the Antennae input inadvertently, something on one of those channels could cause burn in.

No matter how times times I remove the LG Internet (XUMO) channels, a few of them come back every day. After a week, I have to flip through about twenty of the LG Internet channels to get to what I want to watch. I have an 86" UP8770. My wife won't even watch the TV because of how how annoying those LG Internet channels are. I have repeatedly reset the TV. I have left it unplugged all night. I have searched for answers online and spoken to LG on the phone. Nothing helps. I have removed all the LG Internet channels at least 50 times. Every day a few of them come back. I purchased the TV at Costco about 5 months ago. I really wish I could return it. The LG Channels are a deal breaker for me.

I currently own a OLED65C1PUB 2021 Model purchased 1 month ago and it has started having some issues. I don't have cable or satellite TV. I stream everything and recently while using apps on the TV they will just close and the TV switches to my HDMI 1 input that has a chromecast plugged into it. Sometimes it will go straight to the Screensaver instead. This happens quite often and is very annoying. Length of time in thr apps doesn't seem to matter, sometimes it will happen after 20 minutes of watching and sometimes after 30 seconds. Completely random. Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them. And if so any luck finding out what is causing it?

Is anyone aware of an update to the lg web browser that will enable me to screen mirror using an iOS device. I do not have that capability at the moment

Hi everyone, hope someone on here can help me out. I have a new 2022 model LG 55NANO75TPA that’s been updated to the latest version of WebOS.
For the life of me I still can’t figure out how to view the apps that are open and still running in the background. On my previous LG smart TV it was ‘hold the home button’ and the list of open apps would show, being able to press the 'X' on each one and close it. But all that does now is switch between Free To Air TV and other random apps. If anyone knows how to bring it up, or even if it still exists on new LG tvs, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks very much. P.Z
