Support for Dolby Vision files encoded in MKV container

Hi LG

When playing a Dolby Vision file encoded in MKV container format, the image is green/purple in colour. A quick googling says, this occurs due the default media player in WebOS not able to decode Dolby Vision MKV container files properly.

When will this be fixed?

my file got dvhe.05.06 and it doesnt play correctly :(

I have the same problem here.  MKV with DolbyVision and HDR only play in HDR.
Please fix the MediaPlayer to support DolbyVision in MKV.

Came here for this. 

The LG will play DolbyVision in MP4 container nicely, but not in MKV. Adding DV

to MKV is a (relatively) new addition, so possibly LG just needs to update the MKV library.

I get the feeling LG don't care what their customers want, as you can tell from the lack of an official forum, which I have asked them to setup.  

When friends ask me what TV to buy I first tell them to steer clear of WebOS,

My TV does not play Dolby Vision file properly after the update, it shows in HDR, please correct the update.
