With one of the most aggressive vaccination campaigns on Earth, Israel has demonstrated the efficacy of the coronavirus vaccine as the country nears herd immunity. With the light emerging at the end of the tunnel for Israelis, LG in Israel saw an opportune moment to celebrate the citizenry’s efforts and the country’s cautious emergence from the darkness of the pandemic.

So with lockdown restrictions eased and more people returning to life as it used to be, LG Israel felt it was the perfect time for a real live event to celebrate the local launch of LG’s 2021 TV lineup. In cooperation with its exclusive home entertainment product distributor, H.Y.E. Group, LG Israel last month invited 1,100 special guests to see the newest LG TVs in all their vibrant glory.

Under the theme of LG OLED: The King of TVs, the venue showcased the complete lineup of LG’s newest OLED TVs – LG OLED G1, C1, B1 and A1 – as well as some of the company’s NanoCell and QNED MiniLED TV models. Here, the special guests could see for themselves the just how much better LG’s OLED technology is across various TV sizes, because sometimes you just have to see to believe.

campaign, the large space was separated into four distinct zones representing key TV segments: sports, cinema, design and gaming. Each interactive area was faithfully designed to emphasize the various elements and unique values the impressive TVs have to offer every kind of viewer.

With food and drinks galore, attendees sang passionately along during the concert of popular Israeli singer taking to the stage to make it an even more memorable night to remember.

As one of the region’s first major offline events in more than a year, the electricity in the atmosphere was palpable. Israelis who had been patiently waiting for the end of social distancing were finally able to release all their pent-up energies in one fell swoop. And they had good reason to be hopeful. With one of the highest vaccination rates in the world, Israelis had good reason to start enjoying life again.

In the meanwhile, LG will continue to pursue unique and safe ways to introduce its innovative products to consumers around the globe.

Please Help. I have LG qned tv with webOS 23
      1) What I did: with svc remote -> in start -> 0413 and all, area option was changed.
I was trying many numbers to find the code for KR (which didn't work).
      2) What I wanted : change area option from CA -> KR (widely known area codes do not work)
      Original code: CAD 22411

      3) Problem: Once I put a number between 19461 ~ 19489, Language&Country is set to EU and would not change the country with the other numbers.
      Area option: 19461 ~ 19489 Continent index: 5 ~ 33 Language & Country: EU
Now I put 22411 to change it back to original region, but the country would not change from EU to CA, the area option is back to 19461.
If anyone is trying the area option numbers, don't put any number between them.
If any one knows how to resolve, please help me to escape from EU.. I am so desperate.

Have you been wondering what LG will do with webOS next?
      According to
link hidden, please login to view, a since pulled website has arisen (here are the cached pages from Google  and ) detailing info about LG’s all new platform supposedly called ““. It is thought that this is going to rival Samsung’s Tizen, maybe even in retaliation to Apple’s new smart watch. Hopefully our loyal fan-base will make it popular! According to pictures pulled from the site (see below), the SDK for the said smart watches, will supposedly be released with the announcement of LG’s plans to move webOS to the Smart watch platform. I have a problem with my LG 43NANO756PR: if an app is paused (for example a youtube video or music track is put in pause), after about two minutes the TV goes back to the TV antenna input. Very unpleasant if you are on the phone and need a quiet environment. Same thing if I mute the audio: after about 2 minutes the volume resumes as before.
Any way to sort this issue?

For a More Eco-Conscious Way of Living, LG mycup Makes Tumbler Users’
Daily Lives Cleaner and More Convenient

SEOUL, Dec. 20, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) is set to unveil its innovative tumbler washer, LG mycup, at CES 2024. This unique cleaning solution features state-of-the-art technology to enhance the daily hygiene of tumbler users, while its sophisticated design embodies LG’s commitment to environmental sustainability. With the increasing number of eco-conscious consumers using tumblers, LG mycup simplifies the cleaning process and encourages the regular use of reusable cups and tumblers.
This practical washer lets users clean one tumbler at a time by simply placing it inside and selecting from two cleaning courses – Quick Wash and Extra Wash – through the LG mycup app. The cleaning process is then conveniently displayed on the upper display panel to let users check wash status and receive an app notification when the cycle is complete.
Both courses utilize a 65-degree Celsius hot water cycle to ensure thorough and sanitary cleaning. By employing bubble jet technology, the Quick Wash course cleans the inside of the tumbler in just 30 seconds. And for the thorough cleaning and drying for harder-to-clean residues like dairy, the Extra Wash course utilizes an integrated air-drying design to clean and gently dry the tumbler with a multi-directional water jet and powerful hot air.
Designed to take up minimal space, LG mycup’s slim and compact design maximizes space utilization without compromising performance. Its space-efficient dimensions1 make it ideal for various environments, from trendy cafés to busy offices and educational institutions. The washer’s simple yet modern design seamlessly integrates into any interior, combining functionality and aesthetics.
As part of LG’s ESG commitment, Better Life for All, the innovative tumbler washer incorporates eco-conscious technologies from LG dishwashers to save water. For example, LG’s Bubble-Jet technology significantly reduces water usage while maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.2 What’s more, LG mycup aims to encourage more people to use tumblers as a way of living a low-carbon lifestyle that reduces disposable cup waste.
“The compact, easy-to-use LG mycup washer cleans tumblers fast and effectively with its powerful cleaning capabilities, which promotes a sustainable lifestyle that protects our planet for future generations,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company. “We will continue to develop products that impact our customers’ daily lives and the environment in a positive way, as we pave the way to a cleaner future.”
Visitors can experience LG mycup alongside the company’s latest innovations at its CES booth (#16008, Las Vegas Convention Center) from January 9-12.

1 Product dimensions: 230mm width, 420mm 430mm depth, 900mm height (excluding display height).
2 The bubble jet nozzle applied to the Quick Wash mode of the LG mycup tumbler washer for the field test provides 17 percent reduction in water usage. Based on the joint research result conducted with Seoul National University. Results may differ depending on load compositions and environmental factors.

Automatically Monitors and Protects Vehicles from Cybersecurity Threats

SEOUL, Dec. 14, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) and Cybellum will be introducing its Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) Cockpit platform to automotive OEMs at CES 2024. Designed in a collaborative effort between LG and
link hidden, please login to view, the automotive cybersecurity company acquired by LG in 2021, the CSMS Cockpit platform monitors and maintains vehicle cybersecurity. The sophisticated solution streamlines cyber-assurance and incident response tasks for OEMs, ensuring vehicles remain digitally secure and fully compliant with evolving cybersecurity regulations. An area of growing importance, automotive cybersecurity is set to take center stage in the mobility sector as WP.29 UNECE R155 cybersecurity regulations continue to come into effect. From July 2024, all vehicles produced by OEMs must meet the newly established suite of cybersecurity standards to obtain type approval, which is a prerequisite for selling vehicles in 54 countries, including EU member states, the UK, Japan and South Korea. Supporting OEMs to comply with the coming changes, LG and Cybellum’s CSMS Cockpit is a complete platform that addresses the many challenges of automotive cybersecurity management.
The CSMS Cockpit platform swiftly identifies security vulnerabilities, proactively monitoring and taking preventive measures to negate potential threats. LG and Cybellum’s solution can thoroughly analyze vehicle components over the course of its lifespan (approximately 20 years), generating and managing a comprehensive database spanning development and real-world usage. Automatically addressing security concerns and tracking response efficacy, the platform enables real-time risk detection and inspection protocols for individual components. The CSMS Cockpit serves as a control center for product security – from monitoring to management – allowing automakers to promptly assess and address any component-related security threats. In addition, it actively evaluates newly-identified threats and their possible impact on manufacturers’ parts, enhancing overall security reliability.
“The CSMS Cockpit, a product of our collective expertise, will empower automotive OEMs to navigate the complexities of cybersecurity management with unprecedented efficiency and effectiveness,” said Slava Bronfman, CEO of Cybellum. “We are confident that this groundbreaking platform will set a new benchmark for cybersecurity excellence, shaping the future of secure connected vehicles.”
“LG’s automotive component development experience and Cybellum’s automotive security expertise come together in the CSMS Cockpit, a solution that will help automakers deliver the standard of cybersecurity required both now and in the future,” said Eun Seok-hyun, president of LG Vehicle component Solutions Company. “We recognize the growing importance of auto cybersecurity, and are committed to providing platforms and technologies that support data integrity and vehicle safety in an increasingly digital environment.”
