I've bought OLED55CX3LA and have screenshare errors ever since.

I'm using Dell machine with Windows 10 onboard.
Almost every time I try to connect using "connect with remote screen" windows option, I get the pop up that

Quote

XXXX requests screen sharing to your TV.

only with cancel button.

Sometimes there is approval button but mostly I have only "cancel" option.
Have this error on OLED55CX3LA and one older model. Same behavior.

Mobile screen sharing working perfectly fine.

How to fix it?
I've cleared the connection history but without any success.
Not sure if I should put it on warranty or if there is some simple fix?

Same issue here! I tried going to "remote work" mode before starting screen share but same issue and it keeps bringing me back to the home page.

For some reason I had a different error ONCE, it asked to enter the 8 digits password showed on the screen in my laptop... but the laptop didn't trigger a password entry so I was still blocked 🤡

Anyway the only way I found was to turn the TV on and off and try again and again until it randomly works without having to accept on the TV

I have an LG OLED TV 2024, and the remote does not have a FAV button. I have saved some favorite OTA channels through the Channel Manager, but I don't know how to access them without a FAV button. Can someone help me with this?

When in an app, hitting home on the remote doesn't do anything. I was looking to see if there's a webOS update available, and now I see trying to open settings locks it all up. The only way to get out of an app right now or get it out of the state where trying settings locks it up is to power off and back on again.
      Things I've tried:
      1. Restart. I've tried various ways including unplugging and holding the power button on the TV for a while. I left it unplugged all night.
      2. Repair of the remote.
I don't know what else to try as I can't even get into settings to see if there's an update to fix this mess. Any thoughts?

I have an LG UJ6200 that has worked fine for several yrs.  and last night I decided to update it from 5.8.03,    I believe to the latest version,   6.04,     I think.
Every thing is working except for one website that is my favorite.     Prviously I was able to play all streaming video content but now when I try to play a video on the site I get a message:     content cannnot be played
      error code 232011.
Very frustrating as this is one of the reasons I got the tv in the first place.
Don't know why this is happening and dont' see a way to go back to the previous update.
Would doing a factory reset bring me back to the original operating system setting or just keep the newest update in place?
Also,   I notice a lot of new user agreements that I probably didn't pay attention to before and didn't agree to.     Is it possible that my not checking the boxes to agree to all the agreements,  that seem pretty invasive to me,
is preventing some content from playing?
This hasn't affected Netflix,  or regular you tube videos,  by the way,  so not sure if my not agreeing to all the user terms is the issue.
      Any help is appreciated.
      Thank you.

My magic remote and my Roku remote stopped working for turning off power so I performed a factory reset after troubleshooting to get the remote working.  I am now stuck at the 1st screen of the Factory Reset which says "Press the OK Button(wheel) on your remote."  Well... this really stinks because the remote doesn't work!!!  I have tried a USB mouse, a new magic remote, other LG Remotes with no luck.  I have also tried using the button on the bottom of the tv.  And, I contacted support which was just an exercise in redoing everything I had already tried... No Luck!!
This is a Nano Cell 55NANO81ANA which is basically just a big brick now since I cannot even use any of the inputs.  Does anyone have a trick for getting past this initial screen???
      Thanks for the help.

I have owned a couple of LG TV’s over the last 8 years, with the current one being a high-end 77” model.
I am still using LG TV SmartShare (v.33) as my “Media Player” v2.3.1511.1201 for my PC– which was last updated in 2015 but it is still compatible today.  As proof, my latest TV is now 11 months old and I have had zero issue (until you see below).
link hidden, please login to view My PC setup is: Windows 10 Pro (with all latest updates) and a TP-Link Archer BE19000 (BE805) router.    NOTHING has been changed on my router, TV (no updated or changed firmware) or any equipment moved around in the last 4 months.
Up until about 3 weeks ago, everything ran just fine.  The SmartShare program was always defaulted to have Sharing ON, upon start of it, which is always when Windows boots).  However, about 3 weeks ago, the SmartShare PC program has started to randomly change its status to Sharing OFF.  I would then have to go into the program, manually change it to ON and then it works anywhere for 30 minutes up to 20 hours, and again, randomly change the Sharing to OFF.
I am an experienced PC user, and I am very sure that this has nothing to do with my WIFI because it’s not a dropped connection or random TV not being found.   Something is happening inside Windows 10 that is triggering this status change.  And it never fluctuates back to Sharing ON by itself.
Being so frustrated, I actually updated the Router to the latest firmware a few days ago, but this problem continues as before.
As an experiment, I installed an alternate Media Server program called Serviio.  One can also see that when my Sharing changes to OFF, the two green lights turn red.
Anyone have an idea of what can be happening after nearly 8 years of not experiencing this?       I am guessing that Windows is triggering some “Service” to stop running, but what can it be?
