Disney plus hotstar doesn't stream 4k HDR content

I've LG GX OLED which is the best tv in market yet it doesn't stream 4k HDR content in Disney plus hotstar.... But in all other platforms Disney plus hotstar is streaming 4k HDR content... Why not on WebOS.....? 

By the way I've Disney plus hotstar premium subscription waste of money for taking that...

I also have a CX ,had a word with Hotstar as per them they are planning to launch it 4k hdr to web os soon.Till then I am using  4 k on Android box.Though picture quality is not good as comparing to inbuilt Hotstar app but have no other option so for the time being watching hdr on Android box.

at least chromecast fix my 4K dolby vision feature on disney+ app

idk why its doesnt work on webOS built in apps so strange my LG CX

I am using LG C1 and facing same issue. 

I have below subscriptions 

Hotstar : 4k support : plays at 1080p

SonyLiv : 1080p support : plays at 720p

Zee5 : 1080p support : plays at 720p

Netflix : 4k support : plays at 4k 

AHA : 1080p support = plays at 720p 

Amazon Prime : 4k supported : cant verify streaming quality 

 

So except Netflix Nd youtube nothing is playing at 4k which is really unbelievable. I invested so much money in Tv + all these subscriptions. 

 

Now again i have to purchase a Fire tv stick.
