DSTV Now app doesn’t work

Question

When I open the DSTV Now app on my lg tv I get the error “We’re sorry Something went wrong. Please try again.”

I have re installed the app, checked for firmware updates and even reset TV but the error keeps on appearing.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Is it a tv issue or is it the app which is faulty?

In fact not so much the picture in general but processing of text, logos, subtitles etc. Like some bad and heavy picture compression is going on. I did reset the TV and cold reboot and tried with all possbile picture combinations but nothing helped. Now Im stuck until the next official update because it seams that LG

    • Question: After updating firmware 04.71.25 pic is degraded on 55UM7450

Maybe I didnt noticed that before. But when watching TV programs (DTV, via antenna, DVB-T2/h265) I noticed that logos arent super crisp, sometimes like they have those artefacts around them, noticable specially when looking from close, like when you have in tube streaming, also similar artefacts can be seen when looking at TV telps with lots fo jpegs/inforgraphics). Its noticable on pictures (human faces) but less. Like some pixelisation.  Some channels are better but....I doubt that has anytgin
