Chapter support in webOS Photo & Video app

The built-in webOS Photo & Video app is great: easy to use interface, excellent codec support, good compatibility with other devices on my home network.

But it is missing one key feature...

Please add support for browsing chapters in *.mp4 (and other file types) as per the following:

  1. As a user, I can see a list of chapters in the media file I am currently playing (if there are any)
  2. As a user, I can jump to any chapter in the media file I am currently playing
  3. As a user, I can easily jump to the next or previous chapter in the media file I am currently playing
  4. As a user, the list of chapters includes both chapter number and chapter name (if a chapter name is given in the media file I am currently playing)
  5. As a user, I can see which chapter is currently playing both in terms of chapter X of Y and its name
  6. As a user, I can see how long (minutes & seconds) each chapter is
  7. As a user, I can see how long and how many minutes are remaining in the current chapter
  8. As a user, I can briefly see the chapter number/title and duration when I jump to the next or previous chapter

      I was reading a few articles on the launch of Disney Plus but they did not list any of the tvs such as LG webos or samsung tv. I hope disney plus comes out in lg tvs.  Its supposed to launch November 12th in the US for $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. They also said there will be a $12.99-per-month trio bundle of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ that is coming. I'm already doing espn for $4.99, I may do the entire bundle to get hulu also, not sure, At the minimum, I am definitely going to get Disney plus

    • Question: After WebOS firmware update Netflix was removed from my installed apps.

      After I installed the recent WebOS firmware update, I ran Netflix and then the app seemed to immediately uninstall from my installed apps on TV (LG E9). I say it is no longer installed, as it does not appear in my installed apps, or app dashboard/bar.  I go to LG content store and attempt to install Netflix app and click "INSTALL",  after downloading, a response is displayed "Application has not been installed, try again".  I repeat with no success.     • Question: Video from PC to TV - subtitle problem

      Hello, I have a problem with the subtitles when I try to share a video wirelessly directly from my PC to my LG 55SM9010PLA TV. I am not talking about sharing the whole screen (it lags a bit), just the video itself.  Sharing the video itself works well, but randomly the TV randomly does not recognise the subtitle, the sub option is not active in the TV menu, and there are no subtitles.
