Chapter support in webOS Photo & Video app

The built-in webOS Photo & Video app is great: easy to use interface, excellent codec support, good compatibility with other devices on my home network.

But it is missing one key feature...

Please add support for browsing chapters in *.mp4 (and other file types) as per the following:

  1. As a user, I can see a list of chapters in the media file I am currently playing (if there are any)
  2. As a user, I can jump to any chapter in the media file I am currently playing
  3. As a user, I can easily jump to the next or previous chapter in the media file I am currently playing
  4. As a user, the list of chapters includes both chapter number and chapter name (if a chapter name is given in the media file I am currently playing)
  5. As a user, I can see which chapter is currently playing both in terms of chapter X of Y and its name
  6. As a user, I can see how long (minutes & seconds) each chapter is
  7. As a user, I can see how long and how many minutes are remaining in the current chapter
  8. As a user, I can briefly see the chapter number/title and duration when I jump to the next or previous chapter

      Our current app is available on 4K/UHD LG television models running the following system software:
      webOS 3.0 webOS 3.5 webOS 4.0 webOS 5.0 No 720p or 1080p (“full HD”) sets are supported for our current app at this time.
      Note: Due to root certificate limitations with the device OS itself, only webOS 5.0+ devices support secure connections with a personal Plex Media Server. To allow connections to a personal server, devices running earlier webOS versions must be set to Allow Insecure Connections in the TV app settings and the Plex Media Server must be set to Preferred for the Secure Connections preference.

      We recently bought  LG 65UV341C TV.  We are not able to find the LG content store. We have tried to switch of the hotel mode and still the same. Can someone help us how to get it?

      Hi.
      When Im playing a movie in an app on my LG OLED TV the screen is turned off after 15 minutter and only showing for the lack of other words its "digital fireworks» and the text "Turn on screen by pressing any button on remote except power button».
      Its really annoying. 
      Every power/eco mode is off and no timer is active?
      Anyone?

      Hi, I'm looking for a pair of Bluetooth headphones to use with an LG 65sm8600pta TV. A lot of headphone reviews talk about the importance of the aptx standard/codec in making sure there is no lag in audio and to keep the picture and audio in sync. The manual for my TV says only that it supports LGs proprietary 'sound sync' standard. I can't find any headphones that have that compatibility. Does anyone know if LG TVs support aptx, and if not, what is the best way to make sure I don't spend $300 on good over ear headphones but I can't get them to sync?
