      Performance and Refined Minimal Design

SEOUL, Dec. 15, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) is presenting the next evolution of its premium LG SIGNATURE brand at CES 2026 in Las Vegas (January 6-9). Marking a decade of innovation, the latest LG SIGNATURE collections introduce an expanded range of products that blend powerful AI capabilities and elevated design – while preserving the brand’s timeless aesthetics of quiet luxury.
Powered by LG’s AI Core-Tech, the new LG SIGNATURE lineup brings enhanced intelligence and seamless convenience to everyday living. With a suite of AI-driven features and generative AI functions, the appliances provide personalized experiences designed to maximize user convenience.
As the centerpiece of the showcase is the new LG SIGNATURE refrigerator, which embodies LG’s vision for the intelligent kitchen. Equipped with conversational AI based on Large Language Model (LLM) technology, the refrigerator supports natural-language-based interactions to provide tailored suggestions.1 A new 6.8-inch LCD display complements LG’s advanced AI technologies, helping maintain cooling levels for optimal freshness. Additionally, the AI Fresh feature monitors temperature fluctuations based on user patterns and pre-cools the interior – up to two hours before an anticipated door opening.
For even greater convenience, the LG SIGNATURE Smart InstaView refrigerator streamlines food management through ThinQ Food, which uses an internal camera to help identify ingredients, suggest recipes and offer creative substitutions based on the items inside.2 When not in use, you can set elegant visuals to appear on the T-OLED InstaView panel, enriching the ambience and transforming the kitchen into an expressive, inspiring space.
To elevate the cooking experience, the LG SIGNATURE Oven Range offers functions such as Gourmet AI, which uses an AI camera inside the oven to identify more than 85 dishes and automatically select the ideal cooking settings. The AI Browning feature monitors bread as it bakes and sends a notification through the ThinQ app when it reaches the preset level of doneness. Connected smartphone features include real-time monitoring, a time-lapse recap after cooking and easy sharing on social media.
The new SIGNATURE lineup stays true to its Refined Minimal design identity – a unified aesthetic defined by sleek horizontal lines, iconic gold accents and meticulous craftsmanship. Reflecting the brand’s heritage of excellence, the latest products balance elegant design with maximized capacity and enhanced AI-driven performance.
LG will introduce three new LG SIGNATURE design collections – Seamless, Iconic and Tailored – giving consumers the freedom to choose products that best fit their needs and personal style. Built to meet the highest performance standards, the collections incorporate bold materials that create a confident presence in the home. Aligned with this approach, LG aims to broaden its premium customer base by strengthening region-specific strategies and accelerating growth across global high-end markets.
In addition, LG SIGNATURE will showcase immersive spaces in collaboration with Italian high-end living brand Poliform, demonstrating how the appliances harmonize with luxury interiors to deliver thoughtfully orchestrated premium living solutions.

Proven In-Car Entertainment Solution Delivers Immersive Media Experiences and
Transforms New Kia Models Into “Living Spaces on Wheels”

SEOUL, July 16, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG), a leading innovator in mobility technology, announced that its webOS-based Automotive Content Platform (ACP) will power in-car streaming for Kia Corporation’s new European models. Debuting on the recently introduced EV3, the platform will also be extended to the upcoming EV4, EV5 and New Sportage. This marks an expansion of LG’s innovative in-car experience to the European market, following successful deployments in Korea.
LG’s ACP runs on the powerful and versatile webOS platform, which already powers over 240 million LG Smart TVs worldwide. Building on the TV platform’s proven reliability and intuitive user experience, the automotive-optimized webOS offers drivers and passengers instant access to a wide array of content and services, tailored specifically for the in-car environment.
As a core component of “LG AlphaWare,” the company’s comprehensive software-defined vehicle (SDV) solution suite, the ACP redefines the car as a true “living space on wheels.” The platform allows passengers to stream their favorite content directly on the vehicle’s infotainment display,* delivering an experience comparable to that of a smartphone or smart TV – while adhering to driving safety regulations.
Kia’s European model lineup will offer a diverse in-car entertainment experience, featuring popular content from platforms including Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, LG Channels, Baby Shark World for Kids, Stingray Karaoke, Play.Works, Haystack News and Vasari. Later this year, the content library will expand to include Rakuten TV, Napster and German OTT service Joyn. Available only when parked, these video streaming services let occupants turn the car into a private cinema – further enhancing the in-car media ecosystem.
“By bringing the webOS Automotive Content Platform to Kia’s European model lineup, we are making it easy for people to enjoy their favorite content wherever they go,” said Eun Seok-hyun, president of the LG Vehicle Solution Company. “LG remains committed to enhancing partnerships and expanding our content ecosystem to deliver premium in-vehicle entertainment and next-level connectivity.”

Strategic Move to Accelerate Growth in European HVAC Market and Beyond

SEOUL, June 30, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) has signed an agreement to acquire a 100 percent stake in OSO, one of Europe’s leading providers of water heating solutions. The strategic acquisition will further fortify LG’s comprehensive heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) portfolio – a core growth engine of its B2B business – and accelerate the company’s ambition to become a top-tier player in the HVAC industry.
Founded in 1932, OSO offers a complete range of water heating solutions, including electric water heaters, stainless steel thermal storage systems for heat pumps and boilers, and other advanced water heating technologies. A recognized market leader, OSO has firmly established its presence in Europe’s USD 15 billion heating and hot water solutions market.
Driving Growth Through Integrated HVAC and Water Heating Solutions
Europe is witnessing a rapid rise in demand for air-to-water heat pump (AWHP) systems – technologies that provide heating, cooling and hot water by extracting heat from ambient air. This growth is being driven by the region’s climate policies and energy security concerns.
      According to
link hidden, please login to view, the European heat pump market is expected to double by 2030, with annual unit sales increasing from approximately 1.2 million in 2024 to 2.4 million by the start of the next decade. By combining OSO’s product lineup with LG’s advanced heat pump technologies, the acquisition creates immediate synergies. This integration will further enhance LG’s ability to deliver complete HVAC solutions, strengthen its competitiveness in Europe and support its broader global expansion strategy. LG plans to offer integrated HVAC and water heating packages that deliver optimized solutions tailored to diverse customer needs. Furthermore, LG will combine its R&D and heat pump expertise with OSO’s deep product knowledge to broaden and elevate its overall HVAC solution portfolio.
OSO’s Stainless Steel Hot Water Solution Lead the European Market
Hot water systems designed for heat pumps are typically made from either enamel or stainless steel. While enamel was historically favored, stainless steel is now preferred due to its superior hygiene and resistance to corrosion.
OSO’s stainless steel hot water solutions boast excellent energy efficiency and minimal heat loss – key advantages that have helped the company secure a leading position in Europe. With manufacturing facilities in Norway and Sweden, OSO ensures a timely and stable supply of high-quality products across the region. The company’s early adoption of automated manufacturing processes has also enabled exemplary product quality and cost competitiveness.
LG aims to build on these capabilities by jointly pursuing manufacturing innovation with OSO, enhancing automation and productivity through its own 60+ years of production expertise. The integration of both companies’ networks and infrastructure is expected to unlock powerful synergies.
Following the acquisition, OSO will continue to operate independently, retain its existing OEM partnerships and pursue new growth opportunities – while benefiting from LG’s global scale and resources.
Accelerating Growth with LG’s “3B” Strategy: Build, Borrow, Buy
In late 2024, LG established the ES Company to accelerate growth in its HVAC business. With an ambitious goal to outpace industry growth in the cleantech sector, the ES Company offers a comprehensive HVAC portfolio spanning residential and commercial air conditioners to large-scale chillers.
LG is also pioneering the digital transformation of HVAC, applying AI-powered technologies to next-generation solutions for data centers, nuclear facilities and mega factories.
To drive this growth, LG’s HVAC business is actively implementing a “3B Strategy”: building internal capabilities, borrowing external expertise and buying through strategic acquisitions. The OSO deal exemplifies this approach and underscores LG’s commitment to expanding its B2B footprint through mergers, acquisitions and partnerships.
“LG’s deep know-how in Heat Pump Water Heaters in combination with OSO stainless steel tank leadership will ensure sustainable, high-quality product solutions for our customers,” said Sigurd Braathen, Owner of OSO Group AS.
“OSO’s proven water heating solutions are a strategic catalyst for LG’s HVAC expansion,” added James Lee, president of the LG ES Company. “Together, we will deliver highly efficient, integrated solutions that strengthen our market leadership and support global electrification for a more sustainable future.”
