I have the following setup:
LG 55EF950V television which is running webOS 2.2.0-1317 (this should be the latest version of the OS).
I have a number of video files on my Synology DiskStation DS413 NAS which I connect to with the TV over DLNA (on the TV this is Smart Share -> Devices -> (NAS))
I can see all the video files and play them etc., however when viewing the list of files I dont see any thumb images even though I have a JPEG image for each file. For example: "My Video.mkv" has a thumb call "My Video.jpg". For collections I put a "cover.jpg" image in the directory (this doesnt work either on the LG TV).
Has anyone else out there managed to get a webOS 2 TV to show video thumb nail images for videos over DLNA?
BTW: this all works when I use a Samsung TV so I dont think it has anything to do with the way the Synology DiskStation DS413 NAS is setup.

So I got an Xbox One X which has games that display 4k. And also the YouTube app displays 4k videos. How do I know that I have everything set up correctly and the TV is ACTUALLY displaying 4k video mode?
Sometimes even HD looks really good and I haven't watched 4k stuff to know if I'm really seeing it.
It would be nice if there were an option in the TV for displaying the actual resolution in the corner or something. I tried to set things up through my Denon AVR X2000 receiver and the Xbox complained about the TV not being able to do 4k. I don't know if I had something set up wrong or not, so I just hooked the Xbox up to the TV in hdmi 1. And I think the Xbox THINKS it is now capable of at least SOME 4k, but it would be nice to verify that the TV is doing what I think it is doing.
Anybody know an app or something that would help?
oh, I DID see a "+HDR" on the screen for a moment at some point. Don't remember what triggered it nor how to get it to display it again.

Just purchased a new C9 65" and when playing YouTube videos at any speed faster than 1x on WebOS, the audio in the video distorts. A friend confirmed the same on his LG. Is this a known issue, any workarounds, or anyone we can notify on WebOS team to help address?

I have connected by Apple TV on my LG C9 OLED TV. It is connected via HDMI. The TV is connected to Onkyo AV via ARC. While playing a Dolby Atmos enables movie, the AV receiver does not recongnize the output. But while connected the Apple TV directly to the AV, Dolby Atmos gets enabled. Though the HDMI Audio out is set to Bitstream why the AV unable to play Dolby Atmos. Please let me know if I need to make any adjustment in the settings.
