HVEC/H.265 issue

antunes20

Question

Hello,

I recently bought a LG OLED B7 and I'm facing some issues while playing H.265 content. Initially I thought the problem was in the content that I was trying to play, but after some tests I realized that the problem should be in the tv (probably the decoder).

You can check the issue here:

As you can see, sometimes there is a kind of image distortion.

I thought the problem was DLNA, so I tried to reproduce the same content over USB but the problem remains. I asked a friend of mine to reproduce the same content in his Samsung TV and he is not facing any issues at all.

here is some video info about the source

AUDIO (1)

Asking this hear, since I could not seem to find a better place... Wake on LAN only works for a few minutes after TV is turned off?  If I turn of LG TV (WebOS 8.x) and then send a Wake on LAN (WoL) packet, it works.  If turn off the LG TV, then I wait about 15 minutes or so, then send the same WoL sequence, using the same code, script, etc., it fails, the LG TV never turns on.  THe LG TV is configured both for wired ethernet (preferred) and WiFi.  Any idea why this behavior?  It almost seems like the LG TV goes into standby, via phone app, remote, even CEC, etc., then drops from the network?  Mobile is enabled on the TV, hence the phone app works.  Why would the LG TV stop responding to WoL packets?

That Orange field (from SM/etzadjust) I can click for modification on my C1, but I cannot on my C2.
Any hint about how I can achieve that?

Background: my goal is enabling PVR/TS, enabled on my 65C1, but disabled on my 42C2.
I know it is risky, but copying the value of the same model with those features should achieve that, as discussed here:

      Hi,
      New user on here.
I bought this new TV last week and it is honestly driving me bananas.
When I click "Home" after using an App, etc, it brings me to the WebOS interface but then automatically selects the last used device (e.g. Fire stick, LG Channels, etc) despite me not wanting it to.
Is it possible to disable this, i.e. "Home" brings me to WebOS and stays there? I'm sure its a setting etc which I'm missing.
Device is LG UQ91 43 inch 4K Smart UHD TV, pretty sure its all up to date.
      Thanks in advance.

Hi - I have a strange issue where I choose my computer connected via HDMI to my LG C7 TV - the screen has an orange color.
This has only been happening recently and no other channel is affected. TV/Netflix etc channels all totally fine.
Any ideas how to fix this?
      Thanks!
