LG webOS 55UH664V

Question

Hi guys!

Im a bit disapointed with my LG tv. I simply cannot stream anything via weOS. Ive tried diffrent sites and I just get the message ”remove adblocker on you browser to unlook the movie” 

Can someone guide me how to disable this adblock? The model I have is UH664V LG smart

There is not, to my knowledge, an adblocker built in to the webOS browser.  I suspect the problem is that the sites you are visiting are not recognising the browser's userAgent String; or the sites rely heavily on Adobe Flash.  In the case of the userAgent String being unrecognised this is an issue the website needs to address.  If it is a Flash issue then that too will be something for the website needs to address as support is unlikely ever be added to the browser.  The reason for this is twofold Flash is a terrible product constantly changing requiring re-writes of the browser and also the biggest reason is that Adobe has said they will kill off the product sometime in the near future.

As the browser is based around WebKit getting a website to work with it should be a breeze, outside of Flash of course.
