Hello there,
Is it possible to turn off search on the home screen, or filter results to show only apps? Ideally, I'd like to limit content to be appropriate for kids.

I have a LG OLED55C14LB WebOS TV in the same room as my xubuntu desktop computer and router.
I have installed Gnome Network Displays on the Linux PC and both machines are on the same 5G network.
When I connect the PC to the TV via WiFi the TV puts up a 'cancel' option and no option to connect. The Network display app only has an option to 'Return' which closes the connection.
If I do nothing and wait the connection times out and returns to the TV program. The TV is obviously waiting for permission to connect.
I cannot see any way to 'accept' the connection via the TV remote. Can anyone tell me how to accept the connection?
In addition, is it possible to have the TV remember the WiFi password? Passwords are complex nowadays and it is a pain to keep having to input it. This make casting your desktop a chore.

Question
Kramn67
Hi, I'm new here.
I have a 43LF6300-TA WebOS TV. I have upgraded it to WebOS4.0 just recently because I was trying (in vain) to access WIFI and LAN connection hoping maybe the updated firmware might fix the issue somehow.
Previously, I cannot update any smart tv app and all. After the firmware update, the screen says WIFI or LAN is connected but still I cannot update nor access any smart app or internet etc.
If I click on an app, it says update needed. If I click on update, NETWORK ERROR 3 appears. I have a Samsung UHD TV, and setting it up to WIFI or LAN was a breeze.
Need your help on this issue.
thank you in advance.
