👀 🤓Remember those frustrating times when you were watching a video or a movie online and all of the sudden you experienced a loss of quality? Now it can be possible to stream high-quality videos in congested network environments in a faster and virtuous way. Conceived to boost video streaming, High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), or H.265, is a video compression standard designed to substantially improve coding efficiency when compared to its precedent, the Advanced Video Coding (AVC), or H.264. With an increasing growth of video streaming on the Internet over popular websites such as Netflix and YouTube, and with 4K cameras gaining new ground in the market, a considerable amount of storage and bandwidth is required. HEVC promises a 50% storage reduction as its algorithm uses efficient coding by encoding video at the lowest possible bit rate while maintaining a high image quality level. !!! 😃😃😃

      YouTube app problems, please help!

      I recently bought a 50NANO90A6B TV and so far I have to say it's a fantastic upgrade from my old Sony 40".
      However, I've one small niggle problem (only had the TV since Sunday)... The YouTube app doesn't seem to want to work! it shows the logo with a spinny circle, then the logo starts again with the spinny circle... this just repeats over and over.
      All other apps (iPlayer, Jellyfin, Plex, ITV, CH4 etc...) work as does the LGTV app, so the WiFi connection is fine!
      I've uninstalled and reinstalled the YouTube app a few times, but it does the same each time!
      Anyone know how I can sort this? any other suggestions for fixing it!
      I'm currently using my Chromecast with GoogleTV for YouTube at the moment.
      I'm in the UK by the way! And the TV is set to that, in all the relevant settings locations.

      WEBOS 25 fix Profile 7 Dolby Vision playback in MKV

      As the title says, please fix ASAP playback of Profile 7 (FEL/MEL) inside Matroska (.mkv) container.

      On WEB OS 24 it was working with backwards compatibility to HDR10 base layer - in other words the Dolby Vision was omitted.

      Currently in WEBOS 25 the files won't work/play.

      As LG started to support Profile 8 Dolby Vision from WEB OS 25 in MKV properly, this should be easy fix for LG.

      Hello all,
      I believe this problem started after i accidently started and immediately cancelled the download of a app. After this I am unable to install or update any app evem after resetting to initial settings.
      This should be the exact problem found here https://www.lgwebos.com/topic/1918-because-i-can however the solution seems to require a new update. Help?

      Hello there!
      Recently the prime video app started to require the update to open, and now i am having a problem, because this app update REQUIRES to a system update of firmware (to webos24),
      but it will make impossible to homebrew later.
      So, can someone at least provide the last or update ipk of amazon (amazon.ipk), so i can install manually?
