Google Play app does not open - stays on startup screen forever

Question

Please see the attached photo to see that it stays on startup screen forever.

I've tried removing the app & reinstalling it to no avail.

Only started happening recently, possibly since the last update.

Any help much appreciated  :)

Well, checked yesterday & it's working fine again  :)

I had a WebOS update about 10 days ago which changed nothing, & the Google Play app itself hasn't had an update since - so no idea how it corrected itself just like that

Did you guys try accessing the app recently? Is it working now?
