Hello, I know that other LG WebOS users have the same problem as me, but I can't find a solution on the web.
Perhaps one of you experts can help me.
Shortly: manually sort the app icons on my LG Smart TV (OLED77C55LA) and place the “TV Channels” icon in the first position (on the left, to be clear). Before all the others (e.g. Netflix, PlutoTV, Prime, etc.), but when I turn off the TV for a few hours and turn it back on, I find the “TV Channels” icon in last position.
I have tried putting it in second position, third position and so on, but every time I turn it back on, I find it in last position.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you.

LG OLED65C2AUA.
webOS TV version webOS25/10.2.2-61. up to date.
software version 33/22.95 up to date.
whenever I watch Netflix it freezes indiscriminately. Once it happened at minute 1:29 of a movie although it can happen at any time. the Netflix error message says to restart which I do but the issue persists. it is to the point where it is unwatchable. however, when I watch it through Firestick it is fine. Other TV's do not have the issue so I am thinking it is something with the TV. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the TV. I have powered down the TV. I have reset the router. I am wired with ethernet so not using wifi. any help would be appreciated to fix this issue.

I'm told that OneFootball has an app that's available on LG WebOS. Can someone tell me how to find it? I went to 'LG Channels' and did a search, but that search seems to be for programs, not channels. I went to the Sports category and didn't find it either. Thanks.

I'm urgently looking for a way to watch video files that are accessible via different SMB-shares - I was able to do that with external devices like WD-TV-HD Media Player or a raspberry pie - and I thought that I will not need that any more with my new LG OLED - I can webOS or which APP I need to install on the TV to do that
I was expecting to see accessible SMB shares - where I can enter or even store user/pw - besides the Sticks/HDDs attached to the USB port
In the Internet I just found solutions by hacking / manipulating webOS - I cannot believe that this is the correct/only way to achieve that...
TIA,
Chi

Question

Hello all
I recently purchased the TV as per above.
Discussion on how to change the TV's region to access US Netflix, Hulu etc. seems to have gone quiet.
Am I still able to just download the LG Service Remote app, change the region codes to US codes and download the relevant apps that way or is that no longer working?
I have an Australian Netflix account and the Australian Netflix app currently installed on my TV - after downloading the US Netflix app (presuming I'm able to) will I then have two Netflix apps on my TV or just the one US app that has all content?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks!
