Company Supplies State-of-the-art Multi VTM i System to Landmark Commercial
Project, Strengthening HVAC Leadership in Southeast Asia

SEOUL, Apr. 3, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) has supplied its state-of-the-art Multi VTM i, a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) solution featuring an advanced AI engine, to a newly constructed 59,800-square-meters logistics center in the Singapore’s Tuas area. This milestone project underscores LG’s commitment to expanding its heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) business in Southeast Asia.

To achieve the highest level of the Building and Construction Authority’s Green Mark certification program – specifically the Green Mark Platinum (Super Low Energy) rating – the logistic center required an exceptionally efficient and comprehensive HVAC solution. LG distinguished itself by presenting a tailored package that optimally meets the client’s specific needs. To further enhance the already outstanding performance and energy efficiency of the Multi V i, LG integrated its proprietary inverter compressor and a larger heat exchanger.

LG Multi V i intelligently adapts to environmental conditions, optimizing operation while minimizing unnecessary energy consumption. It incorporates LG’s industry-leading HVAC innovations, including HiPOR™ (High Pressure Oil Return) technology, which ensures peak efficiency during part-load operation by improving operational stability, even in challenging conditions. The heat exchanger, enlarged by over 10 percent, accelerates cooling and heating response times, while dual inverter compressors promote increased durability, energy savings and overall efficiency. Moreover, LG’s proprietary energy management tools, including real-time Coefficient of Performance monitoring, provide actionable insights to help building operators reduce HVAC energy consumption without sacrificing performance.

As Singapore strengthens its position as a key regional and global logistics hub – with transportation and storage accounting for over 10 percent of its GDP as of 2022 – the demand for energy-efficient solutions in large-scale logistics operations is steadily increasing. LG estimates that the HVAC market for logistics centers in Singapore is valued at approximately USD 25 million annually, with further growth expected in the coming years. By supplying its advanced Multi V i system, LG is well positioned to accelerate its HVAC expansion across Southeast Asia, where sustainability-focused building initiatives are gaining traction in countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia.

      Hi 
      Ive been having trouble with the ITVX app, when i open it it goes straight to itv1 but when i select another channel it still returns to itv1
      have spoken with itvx customer support for the past 3 months but they assue me its the LG TV software that controls this and not the app making changes when i select something.
      have emailed LG but had no useful reply just reinstall and try again!!! 
      very frustrating, and the only way i can watch a channel is to select the next highest channel and then select the channel i want.

Earlier this month, we welcomed 14 of Brazil’s leading HVAC installers to South Korea for the LG Brazil Installer HVAC Academy.

      Designed to strengthen participants’ technical capabilities and reinforce our partnership network, the program combined hands-on learning with site visits and in-depth technical sessions. Participants also had the chance to present their own case studies and explore how LG’s advanced, eco-conscious HVAC solutions are shaping a smarter, more sustainable future.
      The Academy began with a visit to a local reference site showcasing LG’s latest residential air conditioning systems. The visit offered participants a close-up look at how our technologies are applied in real-world settings to deliver comfort, energy efficiency and reliability.

      The following day, experts from Hi-M Solutek – an LG subsidiary specializing in total HVAC services including maintenance, engineering and building management – led an immersive seminar. The session explored advanced installation methods and shared best-practice cases from across South Korea’s HVAC industry.

      Brazilian participants also took the stage to present their own successful installation projects, sharing valuable insights and field expertise that sparked meaningful exchanges with peers and LG engineers alike.
      The program concluded with a visit to LG Smart Park in Changwon, our world-class manufacturing site for residential and commercial air conditioners. Attendees toured the state-of-the-art HVAC showroom and participated in a dynamic Q&A session with LG’s product development team – discussing future innovations, trends and the evolving role of smart, sustainable technologies in HVAC.

      The LG Brazil Installer HVAC Academy is part of our broader effort to foster collaboration and continuous learning across the global HVAC community. Alongside this initiative, we’ve hosted a series of HVAC Leaders’ Summit events for consultants from Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Most recently, in July 2025, we brought together 30 leading consultants from Central and South America in Panama for a regional summit focused on innovation and partnership.

      Partnership Strengthens LG’s Global Data Center Solution Portfolio, Leveraging Joint
      Expertise to Meet Increasing AI Power and Sustainability Demands 

      SEOUL, Oct. 28, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) today announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SK Enmove (SKEN) and Green Revolution Cooling (GRC) to jointly develop and expand next-generation liquid immersion cooling solutions optimized for artificial intelligence data centers (AIDCs). 
      Under the agreement, the three companies will collaborate to explore new business opportunities, conduct joint marketing and deliver proof of concept (PoC) demonstrations for integrated solutions and business models in liquid immersion cooling for AIDCs. 
      SKEN, a leading company in advanced lubricating base oils and premium lubricants, provides next-generation thermal management solutions, including immersion cooling fluids, and is strengthening its global partnerships to foster an immersion cooling ecosystem. In 2022, SKEN became the first company in Korea to develop immersion cooling fluids. Through an equity investment in GRC, SKEN is also leading the way in innovation in the future cooling market, jointly developing data center immersion cooling systems with the company. 
      GRC, headquartered in Texas, is a global leader in immersion cooling solutions. Since launching its industry-first solution in 2009, GRC has been at the forefront of commercializing immersion cooling technology and expanding the market by partnering with leading global IT companies. 
      LG will take the lead in integrating data center cooling systems, providing core components such as coolant distribution units (CDUs), facility water units (FWUs) and chillers. SKEN will supply advanced thermal fluids designed for immersion cooling, while GRC will contribute its expertise in immersion tank system design and deployment. 
      The rapid expansion of the AI industry has created new challenges for data center operators worldwide, who must meet increasing computing demands while improving energy efficiency and complying with stricter sustainability standards.  
      Liquid immersion cooling, which submerges entire servers in a non-conductive fluid, offers a highly efficient alternative to traditional air- or water-based cooling methods. By transferring heat from the servers through a heat exchanger and circulating it via external cooling systems such as air-cooled chillers, the technology can significantly reduce overall energy consumption. 
      Compared with conventional cooling systems, liquid immersion cooling can improve power usage effectiveness (PUE) and enable the stable operation of high-density GPU servers. In addition, the technology enhances heat transfer efficiency and helps reduce potential fire risks, enabling safer and more reliable data center environments. 
      LG plans to expand its liquid cooling PoC at the Pyeongtaek testbed facility by adding an immersion cooling solution, further demonstrating the company’s system performance and integration capabilities. Building on the MOU with SKEN and GRC, LG will also develop an integrated Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platform, allowing operators to monitor and manage both facility and server systems in real time. 
      “We expect that these three companies, each with their own immersion cooling technology and market experience, will effectively combine their respective strengths to further enhance our competitiveness in the global data center immersion cooling market,” said Nam Jae-in, Head of Green Growth at SK Enmove. “Based on our innovative solutions and strategic partnership, we will lead the growth and transformation of the cooling market.”

      This partnership marks another milestone in LG’s broader strategy to deliver sustainable and intelligent data center solutions. Recently LG – together with LG Energy Solution and LG CNS – supplied its “One LG Solution” to hyperscale data centers in Indonesia and showcased its cutting-edge integrated AIDC cooling solutions at Data Center World Asia (DCWA) in Singapore.

      At the center of the lineup is the LG HeatPump WasherDryer – also known as LG WashCombo – which integrates the essential benefits of LG’s washer and dryer in an all-in-one unit. First introduced in Europe as part of LG’s premium SIGNATURE lineup, the original model earned the highest efficiency rating of Energy Class A for its full washing-to-drying cycle. The new HeatPump WasherDryer upholds this benchmark, once again delivering Energy Class A performance across the entire cycle. Equipped with cutting-edge DUAL Inverter HeatPump technology and low-GWP refrigerants such as R290, the WasherDryer delivers exceptional energy efficiency while meeting Europe’s strict standards. Its built-under design with large load capacity optimizes space utilization for European households, while advanced AI algorithms provide tailored fabric care.
