Minicalendar in UberCalendarThe

in webOS has some great features and Synergy in webOS makes consolidating calendars from multiple sources extremely easy, but anyone who remembers how the calendar worked from the old PalmOS days also knows that there are some major feature missing, too. While there are some patches and apps out there that can be helpful to bridge those gaps, the most complete one is UberCalendar.  UberCalendar is an extremely powerful patch in Preware for both webOS phones and the TouchPad that will greatly enhance the capabilities of the stock calendar app. Among those enhancements is the ability to access a monthly calendar pop-up to select a specific date when creating or editing a calendar entry.

Normally when you edit the date of a calendar entry, you have to know the specific month, date and year you want and select them from individual input fields. This can be frustrating if you want to create an entry for a specific day of the week but don't know the specific date off hand (for example, the first Saturday next month). With UberCalendar, however, you can tap on the Calendar icon icon to the left of the start or end date to pop up a small monthly calendar for you to choose the date you want. Today's date will be outlined in blue and you can swipe across the calendar to change months. By default, you only have access to the next few months, but you can select a different month and/or year from the dropdowns to get access to additional months. On phones, the selected starting and ending dates will be shown with green and red markers on the mini-calendar, respectively, while those dates will only be outlined in a yellow box on the TouchPad.

I'm told that OneFootball has an app that's available on LG WebOS. Can someone tell me how to find it? I went to 'LG Channels' and did a search, but that search seems to be for programs, not channels. I went to the Sports category and didn't find it either. Thanks.

I'm urgently looking for a way to watch video files that are accessible via different SMB-shares - I was able to do that with external devices like WD-TV-HD Media Player or a raspberry pie - and I thought that I will not need that any more with my new LG OLED - I can webOS or which APP I need to install on the TV to do that
I was expecting to see accessible SMB shares - where I can enter or even store user/pw -  besides the Sticks/HDDs attached to the USB port
In the Internet I just found solutions by hacking / manipulating webOS - I cannot believe that this is the correct/only way to achieve that...

      TIA,

The LG WebOS Plex App will not start without internet access even though the App is used to access local Media from a Plex Sever on the local network.  Samsung, Roku, AppleTV Plex Apps ALL work on the local network playing local Media even if internet access is not available.  This is a dealbreaker. I will NOT purchase anymore LG TV’s unless this issue is corrected.    The app simply states that “Internet is Not Accessible” and will not continue to load.  I don’t care if the internet is not available.  My local network IS available and is all that is needed.

      Viewing videos from
link hidden, please login to view was fine up to about one month ago. I do not know if there was an upgrade, but videos from that site  cannot be played any longer on this tv. From the same wifi network (home network) videos from that site play fine to a number of devices (Android phones, 2 win11 laptops, 1 win10 laptop).
Adjusted all browser settings (JavaScript, cookies), cleared cookies, cleared all browser data and history.
      No updates available to download
Finally, reset to factory settings but still videos from cannot be played on the tv set.
