The sales person in showroom pushed for LG saying it has better sound and picture richness. But obviously didn't reveal big shortcomings of non-android smart TV in today's ecosystem. This is useless as you are not having freedom to install apps of your choice from playstore. I can't even get Sonyliv. Horrible OS. Now I am trapped for years after buying this TV. Don't buy LG or other non-android TV unless you can affford to throw it in weeks. When will LG grow up?

Most of the new apps such as jio cinema, sony liv, voot etc which are present on other models of lg smart Tv isn't visible on lg43lj554t Tv model. Please provide such apps as these are very much trendy in India and is needed by maximum viewers due to their popularity else wise I have to purchase other Tv as my need is not being catered or need to buy amazon firestick etc. Please don't ruin our experience and do provide these apps atleast jio cinema, voot and sony liv so that we can enjoy it, also most of the app which are currently present on lg store isn't of any use and nobody use it. There are many new movies and web series which are not playing. Jehanabad: in SoniLiv, The Night Manager in Hotstar are couple of examples. They are playing flawlessly in Laptop and Mobile, but not in LG TV backed by webOS. I have removed and reinstalled both the Apps but no result. Please help.

When will we get the SONYLIV app on WebOS ? Even the WebOS browser doesn't support playing SONYLIV content due to lack of Flash support. Strangely Chromecast also has issues.

Two of the apps I.e Sony Liv and MX PLAYER ARE not available. You cannot even play Sony Liv through AirPlay as the sonyliv app will not support screen sharing on lg tv . So unfortunate experience.

When will we get sony liv app in our lg smart tv. Please update the true status. We all are eagerly waiting for sony liv app.

Hi, LG webOS also needs Flash Player Support to Stream video content from any website. So that if some apps are not available then one can visit the website and stream contents directly from the webOS browser. Thanks
