Hello AWACS, I'm not sure, but it might help if you put your TV model number and firmware version in your post. I'm running 04.00.70 firmware on a 49UF850V (if memory serves me correctly) and I get 2 occasional pop-ups, one about the channel list and one about firmware. If it goes to quickly you can always go into settings and do a check for firmware update.

stevevalo replied to majorusa's topic in LG TV and LG webOS Smart TV Discussion
Hello all, 04.00.40 - UK - 49UF850V Is that the latest firmware for my TV? LG website states 03.20.05 and does not list 04.00.40. Also does anyone know when the UK is getting the update to integrate Freesat HD into these TV as per: http://cdn.freesat.co.uk/freesat/freesat_website/content/downloadables/lg%20partnership.pdf -
[Help]49uf850v Firmware update
stevevalo replied to tiger81's question in LG webOS Smart TV Questions
You need to do a manual firmware update as per LG instructions here: http://www.lg.com/uk/support-product/lg-49UF850V# I had the same problem updated to 03.20.05 manually. Basically download the zip file un-zip it and drop the file in a folder called 'LG_DTV' on a USB stick. Plug it in and switch the TV on. It should then update. Once you've updated you should get an automatic update to 04.00.40.
