  1. LG Australia is now sending a service tech to my place (at their cost) to install the latest firmware off a USB stick... Ridiculous, haha. But at least it should fix it.
  2. Hey mate, I'm in the exact same boat. Countless messages to LG through their facebook and emails/calls to support - they're absolutely hopeless. They also wanted me to pay for a tech visit, when this is obviously a software issue. I don't understand how this wasn't patched within a week worldwide...
  3. Just had a pop up on mine (Australia) saying there's an update available. Didn't click it in time and when I navigate to Check For Updates in the settings it says No Update Available... Hopefully that means something is in the works at the moment.
  4. So another day on 05.00.35 in Australia - still having the same issues with HDMI ARC/Optical sound out, also still having HDMI pop ups occasionally. Emailed LG, got told to call them, called, told I'll be called back the next day. Three days later without a call, called back and was told to take it to the closest service centre to have the hardware checked haha. Obviously it's a software issue considering all the people here in the same boat. I've requested the issue be forwarded to whoever is in charge of the software updates (Korea apparently), I've also submitted a complaint about the lack of service and after sales support. If anyone can shed more light on manually updating that would be excellent.
  5. My TV just auto updated to 05.00.35 - I've got the HDMI/ARC issue too. Every 20 minutes or so the sound changes from ARC to TV Speakers by itself and maybe once an hour or so a HDMI input will pop up as if I've just plugged it in.
