New (beta?) firmware has appeared online: 05.00.05 I also have the simplink issue (with a raspberry pi), do you think this version will resolve it? -

New firmware appeared on hungarian LG site for LB series: http://www.lg.com/hu/termektamogatas/lg-50LB671V# This is the version (04.45.04) that was recalled once. Hopefully by now, they have corrected the error that bricked several devices in Germany.
