That is true but then we have silly things like HIBB not enabled unless you switch to Aus and then reprogram all your channels (we have a different channel gap too I think.) I would prefer not to be the first to try this :-)

I tried switching the service country from NZ to Australia but that didnt work. Maybe have to change the location to Australia as well but I am a bit nervous about doing that in case there are differences in the firmware between the two countries.

I dont think you can do that by changing region codes. Easiest way is to use something like Unotelly and then you just have to change the DNS in your network settings on the TV, very simple.

I have set up a NAS over my wifi homenetwork but my TV, LB650V, does not see it. Other devices ie laptop, phone, tablet etc can all access the NAS. Does WebOS not support Samba shares?

OK, TV is new and working, model is 50LB650V "Are you logon to lg TV store account? How many power on count show in TV settings?" I am not sure what you mean here. When I turn the TV on I have to go to the wifi settings and click on the name of my wifi network, tv then connects. I just want it to connect automatically when TV turns on. Thanks.

Well is there a way to make WiFi start when the TV is turned on? Currently I have to go into Settings/Network/WiFi Connection and click on the connection every time I turn on the TV, very slow.

Is there a way to keep the wifi connection active when the screen is off? Then I could use the app on my phone to turn the TV on. At the moment, when the TV sleeps the wifi turns off :-(

Whenever I remove a USB stick I get a message along the lines of " Only remove USB device after disconnecting from the Input Hub" but I cant find where the Input Hub is.

Thanks for the replies. I have version 4.30.16 None of the above suggestions work for me, probably my lack of understanding of this new TV :-) I assume I should be using the Magic remote? If I hover over the app it pops up slightly. To drag I guess I press and hold the wheel? Nothing happens when I do this. If I highlight the app and press the up arrow, selection of the app is lost and the pointer moves to the Inputs icon at the top of the screen. I have ver 4 software, where should the option "x" to remove show up? I appreciate all your help, would love to get this sorted out.

How do I remove unwanted apps from the launcher? I have things showing up there like The Wiggles and Facebook that I will never use, am I able to remove them so they dont appear? Thanks.

That's sad, just bought mine last month. Will be the last LG product I buy if that is how they support their customers.

Where have LG stated that they are not updating 2014 models? I havent seen this stated anywhere.
