New LG NOVA Digital Health Venture Aims to Enable Providers to Offer Patients Personalized Home Care SEOUL, May 14, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled “Primefocus Health,” a new venture that aims to leverage innovative technologies and new healthcare therapies to enable providers to deliver a personalized, complete care experience and empower individuals to take control of their health at home. Primefocus Health is the first new venture launched by LG NOVA, LG Electronics North America Innovation Center. This new provider-focused, patient-centric healthcare platform intends to give patients access to new healthcare therapies made available by innovative technology applications, as well as providers access to patient data and progress information to help ensure that their patients are on the right path to better health. Healthcare providers are under pressure to improve patient care and reduce readmissions and patient and provider costs. However, according to the National Institutes of Health, more than USD 52.4 billion is spent annually to care for patients who were readmitted to the hospital within 30 days for a previously treated condition. To help reduce these costs and enable better personalized care, Primefocus Health plans to develop a remote monitoring and healthcare delivery platform, using innovative non-invasive technology for tracking patient progress for multiple medical conditions, which can be integrated with the provider’s electronic health record system, artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities for ease of use.   4. The specs for the magic remote promise "Voice Recognition with Intuitive Mouse Like Pointing and Wheel Control". I think that would be nice. The current implementation of scrolling via the wheel on the magic remote is not intuitive. Why would I move my thumb up to pull the text shown on the screen down to the bottom? Question is, can we please get natural scrolling for WebOS 5.5.0 and newer? Some option in the settings would be fine. The current "unnatural" scrolling is a major obstacle in usability for me, and the main reason to not buy LG again.

  6. Thanks for your help but I don’t have an external box I am going to try using a 3.5mm jack plug to see if that works. Have tried an external transmitter using optical cable but HDMI constantly overrules it.
  7. This may not solve your problem depending on your TV source. I connect an Aptx low latency Bluetooth transmitter (to avoid lag) to the audio out ports of my cable box and use appropriate Bluetooth earbuds. The volume of the earbuds is independent of the TV speakers this way.
  8. Do you have any devices connected via HDMI? For example a DVD player, or a set-top-box or PVR? If so, check the cables are not low spec or bad. I had that exact issue, and it was an old/cheap HDMI cable, and even when NOT using that port, it would affect a TV channel display.

Throughout his week-long visit, Cho will focus on key tasks such as attracting top-tier AI talent, communicating the company’s vision and strategy to global investors and attending the influential MS CEO Summit. These endeavors are integral to LG’s comprehensive strategy to accelerate the incorporation of AI into all its business sectors. AI as a Crucial Catalyst for Future Growth and Customer Experience Innovation Throughout his trip, Cho aims to secure top-notch expertise in the AI field, an area that has recently surfaced as a critical turning point in the industry. He plans to leverage this as a springboard for transforming LG’s future business portfolio and revolutionizing the customer experience. Annually, LG introduces approximately 100 million products to the market. Given a product lifespan of seven years, it’s estimated that nearly 700 million LG products are currently in use worldwide. Furthermore, the usage data gained from customers interacting with these devices exceeds 700 billion hours. Cho anticipates this enormous pool of usage data will help accelerate LG’s AI progression and the 700 million products will function not just as customer touchpoints but also as service platforms. “AI, Cloud, and Big Data are new opportunities for LG” Cho commenced his itinerary by hosting a tech conference in North America on the 11th in Cupertino, California. This program is aimed at drawing in top-notch talent from abroad. Key participants included LG’s AI Lab management team and executives from LG’s various businesses including Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Home Entertainment Company; Eun Seok-hyun, president of LG Vehicle component Solutions Company; Dr. Kim Byoung-hoon, CTO and executive vice president; Kim Weon-bum, CHO and executive vice president; and Dr. Sokwoo Rhee, head of LG’s North America Innovation Center.   11. I have tried to use my wireless headphones in conjunction with my external speakers so I can hear the sound at a different level to others. I can get it to work but not properly because my soundbar is connected via HDMI simplink (Sonos Beam). When I turn simplink off the Bluetooth speakers work great but no sound from TV Speakers or soundbar even if I pick multiple speakers the sound only comes out of the headphones. Is there anyway around this?

  14. Hi again, I've found a workaround uninstalling kodi and then with webOS Dev Manager have done a new installation. After this the root of my LG webOS TV doesn't have old kodi backups any more!!!!

  19. I used to have a JBL soundbar, connected via ARC. Now I switched to Denon soundbar again with ARC connection. But my tv doesn't turn off now, although all other functions are working fine on the remote. Any idea?
  20. Hi everyone, I´ve installed Kodi on LG WebOS. I need to delete some backups that by default are stored in the WebOS root system. I guess it can be done through WebOS Dev Manager but I´ll appreciate any help giving me the path to achieve such backup folder. Many thanks in advance

  23. Connect to the vpn from another device on your network and use this device ip as "gateway" from TV network settings.
  24. Recently live channels stopped working with an error every 2-3 seconds. Older media is still playing. Now I noticed that new media like today's news aren't playing either. Same error. News from Friday 3rd may still work. Have tried on 2 LG tvs.. Oled from 2018 and LCD from 2020
  25. After last 13.30.61 update my iptv apps plays just channels for 30 seconds and the pauses. I have used ss iptv app and smart iptv. On my Samsung TV all works fine using the same apps
  26. I tried to do this and no apparently you can’t. For some strange reason LG won’t let you install a VPN.

Have an LG55Nano which works well apart from when on specific BBC shows whereby whenever there is a switch if camera, say from contestants to host and vice versa, there is an extremely annoying flickering motion that takes place. May sound petty but any visitors comment on how distracting it can be. Happens constantly on Richard Osmans House of Games, Impossible, Pointless and similar BBC programmes. Reported it but was told I had to get video clips for them to assist despite it being less than a year old. Life's too short. Any advice very welcome.
  28. I found a way to boost my download speed! I went into the connection settings on my TV and switched the IP address to manual. Then, I entered a custom IP address that works on my network instead of using the automatic setting. This bumped up my download speed from 7 MB to 22 MB! Just make sure the IP address you choose isn't already in use on your network.
