Spotify Issue

Question

I am the proud new owner of a 55"  OLED EF9500.  During set up yesterday I ran into an issue where I can't save any songs to a playlist in Spotify.  When I select the "+" symbol I get the message  "loading" but nothing ever happens and the requests just time out.   Any suggestions?
