App Giveaway: 50 copies of Pixelism

There are numerous ways to fool around and make art with your TouchPad. One of those ways is a fun app by Phantom App named Pixelism. As you might gather from the name, Pixelism is pixel art of sorts. With the app you can create from scratch or overlay on existing images your own art built from tiny little stamp-like shapes including squares, triangles, and stars - all in any color you so desire. Normally Pixelism would cost you $1.49 from the App Catalog, but thanks to the developer we have 50 copies to give away to you!

Contest: We have 50 copies of Pixelism to give away. Just leave a comment on this post to enter. Contest ends next Sunday at midnight US Eastern Time, after which time we will select 50 random entrants to win. Please only leave one comment, multiple entries won’t count. Promo codes are only valid in countries serviced by the App Catalog, and users must be running webOS 3.0.0 or higher with the latest version of the App Catalog.

With the release of webOS OSE, I'm wondering if it's able to run on the HP Touchpad. I wonder if someone will attempt to port it over.   Might give me a reason to pull out the old Touchpad, currently have an older Android system on it and haven't messed with it in over a year.

    • Question: How do I make all sound inputs equal?

When I switch from cable to xbox or another input, the sound levels aren't equal.  So I maybe have to turn the sound way up for one device and when I go to the other device, it is blasting.   Shouldn't the tv recognize when I turn down (or up) one input source that I don't necessarily want to affect another one? Am I missing something?  I haven't found anyplace to adjust those levels.  (nothing on the tv and nothing in the cable box, for instance.

webOS friend and LuneOS project aficionado, Herrie, recently embarked on an unlocking adventure.  His HP TouchPad 4G gave up the ghost and passed away quietly.  So he did what anyone would do and got a new one!  That’s what you’d do if your TouchPad died too, right? His TouchPad was special though.  In fact, you probably read his article right here on pivotCE about getting true LTE speeds on it with an unlocked Sierra 7710 card in it. Why not just crack open the new one and pop in the 7710 and
