Company Unveils Expanded AI-Powered SIGNATURE Lineup With Advanced
Performance and Refined Minimal Design
SEOUL, Dec. 15, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) is presenting the next evolution of its premium LG SIGNATURE brand at CES 2026 in Las Vegas (January 6-9). Marking a decade of innovation, the latest LG SIGNATURE collections introduce an expanded range of products that blend powerful AI capabilities and elevated design – while preserving the brand’s timeless aesthetics of quiet luxury.
Powered by LG’s AI Core-Tech, the new LG SIGNATURE lineup brings enhanced intelligence and seamless convenience to everyday living. With a suite of AI-driven features and generative AI functions, the appliances provide personalized experiences designed to maximize user convenience.
As the centerpiece of the showcase is the new LG SIGNATURE refrigerator, which embodies LG’s vision for the intelligent kitchen. Equipped with conversational AI based on Large Language Model (LLM) technology, the refrigerator supports natural-language-based interactions to provide tailored suggestions.1 A new 6.8-inch LCD display complements LG’s advanced AI technologies, helping maintain cooling levels for optimal freshness. Additionally, the AI Fresh feature monitors temperature fluctuations based on user patterns and pre-cools the interior – up to two hours before an anticipated door opening.
For even greater convenience, the LG SIGNATURE Smart InstaView refrigerator streamlines food management through ThinQ Food, which uses an internal camera to help identify ingredients, suggest recipes and offer creative substitutions based on the items inside.2 When not in use, you can set elegant visuals to appear on the T-OLED InstaView panel, enriching the ambience and transforming the kitchen into an expressive, inspiring space.
To elevate the cooking experience, the LG SIGNATURE Oven Range offers functions such as Gourmet AI, which uses an AI camera inside the oven to identify more than 85 dishes and automatically select the ideal cooking settings. The AI Browning feature monitors bread as it bakes and sends a notification through the ThinQ app when it reaches the preset level of doneness. Connected smartphone features include real-time monitoring, a time-lapse recap after cooking and easy sharing on social media.
The new SIGNATURE lineup stays true to its Refined Minimal design identity – a unified aesthetic defined by sleek horizontal lines, iconic gold accents and meticulous craftsmanship. Reflecting the brand’s heritage of excellence, the latest products balance elegant design with maximized capacity and enhanced AI-driven performance.
LG will introduce three new LG SIGNATURE design collections – Seamless, Iconic and Tailored – giving consumers the freedom to choose products that best fit their needs and personal style. Built to meet the highest performance standards, the collections incorporate bold materials that create a confident presence in the home. Aligned with this approach, LG aims to broaden its premium customer base by strengthening region-specific strategies and accelerating growth across global high-end markets.
In addition, LG SIGNATURE will showcase immersive spaces in collaboration with Italian high-end living brand Poliform, demonstrating how the appliances harmonize with luxury interiors to deliver thoughtfully orchestrated premium living solutions.

What if technology didn’t just support creativity, but became the canvas itself? In Hong Kong’s iconic West Kowloon Cultural District, that vision came to life through Tenka Taihei, a one-of-a-kind Art Tech x Music performance held at Freespace. At the heart of the experience was LG SIGNATURE OLED T, the world’s first wireless transparent OLED TV, transforming innovation into a living, breathing part of the show.
Tenka Taihei, meaning “Peace Under Heaven,” evokes a sense of harmony, stability and hope for the future. It’s a fitting theme in an ever-shifting world. Conceived by musician and creative director Kendy Suen, the performance blends live music, digital calligraphy, projection visuals and interactive sound installations into one immersive experience.
For Suen, the transparent nature of LG SIGNATURE OLED T was more than a technical feature – it was symbolic of the harmony between technology and human connection. “Like a protective yet open fortress,” he explains, “it lets audiences see beyond barriers and connect with the broader world,” reflecting the delicate balance of strength and openness at the heart of Tenka Taihei.
This collaboration is part of LG’s broader belief in “brave optimism” – that even in uncertain times, innovation and creativity can spark hope, foster connection and inspire joy. Through the power of Tenka Taihei, LG explores how technology can move beyond functionality to become a medium for storytelling and cultural exchange, demonstrating that the most powerful innovations enrich human experiences.
As part of the performance, the LG SIGNATURE OLED T became a dynamic digital canvas that blurred the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds. Visual artist Moon Hung, renowned for his real-time artistic creations, used the transparent OLED in harmony with projection mapping and an interactive soundscape, crafting visuals that appeared to float effortlessly in mid-air.
Audiences could take in every intricate detail up close, even in scenes composed of more than two million individual radicals. The screen’s transparent nature allowed them to see both the calligraphy performance and the surrounding space at once, creating the illusion that on-screen visuals were seamlessly integrated into the environment. The result was an elegant synchrony of art, sound and technology – a multi-layered journey where viewers could see sound and hear calligraphy.
The performance left many audience members in awe of its seamless fusion of art and technology. The transparent OLED screen, in particular, captivated their curiosity and admiration, enveloping them in mesmerizing visuals that appeared to drift effortlessly through the space.

On June 5, billions of people around the world came together to celebrate World Environment Day. With this year’s observance proudly hosted by South Korea – LG’s home country – the company was more committed than ever to making a meaningful global impact. Centered on the theme #BeatPlasticPollution, the day called on individuals and organizations everywhere to take action against plastic waste and protect our shared planet.
LG answered that call through a series of local, hands-on initiatives that reduce plastic use, promote environmental awareness and build stronger communities. From upcycling workshops to tree-planting drives, here’s how LG teams around the world are turning their commitment into action – and helping to shape a more sustainable future.
Taiwan: Turning Trash into Treasure
In Taiwan, LG collaborated with
link hidden, please login to view, a local organization dedicated to creative reuse, to host a Plastic Reduction Workshop. Around 20 employees brought in discarded plastics from home – bottles, packaging and more – and transformed them into clipboards, coasters and keychains.
Guided by sustainability experts, participants handled every part of the upcycling process – from crushing plastics to sanding and shaping final products. Beyond crafting functional items, the workshop empowered individuals to take environmental action into their own hands, reinforcing LG’s values of responsibility and innovation.
Benelux: Inspiring the Next Generation
In the Netherlands, LG Benelux partnered with the Bloeiwijzer School in Amstelveen to host a sustainability-themed event combining education, inspiration and community.
Special guest – 16-year-old Climate Mayor of Amstelveen, UNICEF Youth Panel member and founder of the WailSalutem Foundation – shared his personal journey as a climate advocate.
To cap off the day, each student received a certificate of environmental commitment, co-signed by Wail and LG Benelux – a symbol of how even the smallest actions can lead to lasting change.
Italy: Cultivating a Culture of Sustainability
In Italy, LG focused on encouraging simple, sustainable habits. Employees received plant-growing kits for aromatic herbs, promoting greener lifestyles at home and in the office.
A green-themed quiz added a fun, educational twist – reinforcing how everyday actions, even small ones, can foster a lasting Culture of Sustainability.
Jordan: Community Recycling in Action
In Jordan, LG Levant partnered with local startup to launch a community recycling initiative. Over several weeks, employees collected recyclable plastics and paper, delivering them to designated drop-off points in Dabouq. There, materials were repurposed into new products through innovative recycling techniques.
Mongolia: Growing a Greener Legacy
In Mongolia, LG launched the “Life’s Good Garden” project near the Genghis Khan statue east of Ulaanbaatar, in collaboration with . The team planted over 120 trees and shrubs – spruce, pine and flowering species – contributing to a national environmental campaign.
Spanning 4,000 square meters and featuring 610 meters of colorful new walkways, the garden is open to the public. Visitors can even plant trees tagged with their name and planting date – a personal touch that celebrates individual contributions to a greener world.
India: Creativity Begins at Home
At LG India, sustainability met creativity through the “Trash to Treasure” initiative. Employees’ children showcased their eco-conscious creativity in an art exhibition that turned recycled materials into imaginative sculptures and crafts.
More than just an art show, the event reflected core values – family, environmental awareness, and the idea that meaningful change often begins with the next generation.
Singapore: From Clean-Up to Circularity
In Singapore, over 100 LG employees joined a coastal clean-up at Yishun Dam, collecting a staggering number of plastic bottle caps. As a part of the annual clean up, employees collected a staggering total of 950 kilograms of trash. But that was just the beginning.
Teaming up with Green Nudge, the group launched “Make Waste Great Again!” – a workshop where collected bottle caps were upcycled into coasters, keychains and more.
For those looking to go the extra mile, a beeswax wrap workshop challenged participants to create sustainable alternatives to single-use kitchen plastic. Using cotton fabrics found around the home, employees upcycled vibrant, reusable wraps while learning how small changes in the home can significantly reduce their personal plastic waste.
Kenya: Restoring Forests, Reviving Hope
LG East Africa celebrated World Environment Day by planting 300 indigenous trees in Ngong Hills Forest, just outside Nairobi. Once sprawling across 7,200 acres, the forest has shrunk due to deforestation and urbanization – but remains crucial for local biodiversity and clean air.
In partnership with Tree Niches Organization, 60 LG employees each planted five seedlings. With expert guidance from co-founder Dr. Solomon Kipkoech, they learned proper techniques and pledged to nurture the trees over the next three years – demonstrating LG’s commitment to long-term environmental stewardship.
From Asia to Europe to Africa, LG teams are showing that local action can drive global change. These initiatives are more than one-time events – they’re part of an ongoing journey to ensure that Life’s Good for people and the planet alike.

Back in 1965, LG made history by introducing its very first refrigerator. Since then, the company has built a legacy of home appliance innovation and become a trusted global brand that has continuously redefined what a refrigerator can be and do. One standout example of this evolution? LG’s ongoing advancements in home ice solutions.
Early Innovations in Ice & Water: Breaking New Ground
In 2006, LG took refrigerator convenience to a whole new level with the launch of the world’s first French Door refrigerator featuring an in-door ice maker. By moving the ice maker to the door, LG entirely eliminated the need to open the freezer compartment, minimizing cold air loss and making it easier than ever to access freshly made ice. With this groundbreaking solution, LG established itself as a powerhouse in the home appliance market, and as an innovator determined to make everyday life better.
Then in 2010 came the Slim SpacePlus Ice System. Offering excellent ice-making capabilities and freeing up additional food storage space, it became one of LG’s signature technologies – one that elevated customer convenience while simultaneously raising the industry bar for refrigerator design.
Taking Ice Quality to the Next Level
Next up, LG started reimagining what ice could be. In 2019, the company unveiled Craft Ice, an innovative built-in ice maker capable of producing large, slow-melting1 spheres of ice. Ideal for cocktails, iced coffee or any drink that deserves a stylish finish, Craft Ice brought a new level of sophistication and sensory appeal to the home beverage experience.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020 and hygiene became a top priority for consumers worldwide, LG responded by releasing refrigerators equipped with UVnano technology. Leveraging the power of ultraviolet light, and operating automatically at regular intervals, UVnano reduces 99.99 percent of bacteria on the refrigerator’s water dispenser nozzle, helping ensure a clean and safe drinking experience.2 At the same time, LG’s use of NSF-certified water filters provided added assurance that the water used for both drinking and ice-making met the high standards for cleanliness. By addressing the importance of hygiene, LG helped further strengthen consumer trust in its market-leading refrigerators.
Smaller, Smarter and Even More Thoughtful
In 2023, LG introduced Mini Cubed Ice in the U.S. market – a new feature that produces tiny ice cubes ideal for quickly chilling drinks like sodas or cocktails. As well as demonstrating LG’s technology and design prowess, Mini Cubed Ice illustrates the human-centeredness and attention to detail that the company brings to all of its lifestyle solutions.
For a smarter, more convenient ice-management experience, LG refrigerators equipped with the ThinQ platform allow users to monitor their ice inventory and activate the Ice Plus feature to speed up ice production whenever needed.3 It’s a seamless blend of smart tech and everyday utility.
Looking ahead, LG plans to unveil new concepts in ice solutions by the end of this year. These upcoming technologies promise to push existing boundaries and provide even greater precision, efficiency and ease; enriching customers’ daily lives as only LG innovations can.
The Innovation Journey Continues
From the world’s first in-door ice maker to the upcoming new ice solution, LG has continually evolved its home ice solutions to reflect changing lifestyles and rising expectations. What began as a simple way to make ice more accessible has grown into a portfolio of features that prioritize convenience, style, hygiene and customization.
Thanks to LG, ice isn’t just ice anymore – it’s personal, purposeful and refreshingly innovative. And this journey is far from over.
Stay tuned to LG Newsroom as LG continues to reshape what’s possible in the kitchen – and beyond.

1 According to LG’s internal testing, Craft Ice melts more slowly than ice cubes of the same weight (approximately 69 grams), based on a comparison conducted at a room temperature of 25 degrees Celsius using 121 milliliters of cold water at approximately 9.5 degrees Celsius. The actual results may vary depending on environmental conditions.
2 According to tests conducted by TÜV Rheinland using internal testing methods, the UVnano (function name: Self Care) feature reduced the presence of E. coli, S. aureus, and P. aeruginosa in distilled water samples after 10-minute exposure to the product’s UV LED each hour for 24 hours under UV LED assembly conditions. UVnano, a compound word combining UV (ultraviolet) and nanometer (a unit of length), refers to the technology used in this process. Actual results may vary depending on environmental conditions. The product does not treat or cure health-related conditions, nor does it guarantee that the filtered water is free from contaminants such as microbiological particles.
3 To use ThinQ features, users need to install the LG ThinQ app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on smartphone and connect to Wi-Fi. LG ThinQ® app available on compatible Android 9.0 or higher, iOS 16.0 or higher smartphones. Phone and Home Wi-Fi Data connection and product registration with LG ThinQ® required. LG ThinQ functions may vary depending on the product and country.
