SEOUL, Apr. 20, 2021 — LG Electronics (LG) unveiled its first smart laundromat outside of its home country test market, signaling the future direction of the laundromat experience. LG’s Laundry Lounge is a digital, contactless public laundry facility located in Manila, Philippines designed to deliver a premium and convenient laundry experience for both owners and customers.

With only 30 percent of households in the Philippines owning washing machines and even less owning dryers, commercial laundromats are very popular. And even for those 30 percent, the machines tend to be small, meaning having to run multiple loads for large families. As a result, commercial laundromats are quite popular in the Philippines and considered a good business for investment, with as many as 1,500 new laundromats opening every year.

But the pandemic has made visiting laundromats a stressful experience for many.

With LG’s Laundry Lounge, owners can monitor their business remotely while customers can check washer/dryer availability and keep an eye on the progress of their clothes from any location. And because LG is a global leader in laundry solutions, users Laundry Lounge can feel confident knowing that their clothes are getting the best care possible in an LG washing machine or dryer.

The Laundry Lounge app makes the entire laundromat experience healthier and easier. Available for Android devices, LG’s app allows customers to make contactless payment, reserve a washer or dryer in advance and monitor their laundry’s progress from home or the car so there’s no need to wait in line. Laundry Lounge owners can also be part of the solution rather than the problem by running their business completely remotely. Revenues, machine breakdowns and any other issues are communicated via the app so there’s no need to be on site all the time.

LG’s commercial washing machine and dryer models employ many innovative features to deliver clean, gentle clothing care. Every washing machine incorporates effective hygiene technology that cleans the drum before, during, and after every cycle and LG’s commercial dryer employees high temperature air to sanitize clothes of germs and bacteria. For maximum hygiene, the Laundry Lounge includes LG Styler wardrobe management units which customers can use to steam clean clothes such as coats, suits and scarves that cannot be washed in water.

“The opening of LG’s first digital Laundry Lounge outside its test market demonstrates LG’s commitment to providing operators and customers with a smarter, safer way to turn laundry into big business,” said Don Kwack, senior vice president and head of  LG Electronics Home Appliance and Air Solution Company’s overseas sales and marketing. “LG Laundry Lounge introduces both smart and convenient features to the laundromat environment, trends which we think urban consumers will really appreciate.”

That Orange field (from SM/etzadjust) I can click for modification on my C1, but I cannot on my C2.
Any hint about how I can achieve that?

Background: my goal is enabling PVR/TS, enabled on my 65C1, but disabled on my 42C2.
I know it is risky, but copying the value of the same model with those features should achieve that, as discussed here:

Smart remote constantly disconnects. I’ve pushed home and back button and when trying to setup remote receive error message “Bluetooth service needs to be inialized”
Ive tried everything suggested on the internet to include turning off tv waiting 15,30,60 seconds and trying again. Eventually it will reset up but then will will disconnect. Extremely frustrating and tv is really unusable when this happens. The worst is getting into a streaming app and the remote fails and can’t get out without turning tv off. I would list tv model # but since I started this message remote has disconnected again. Help very much appreciated
      thx

to Enhance Customer Value in Rapidly Changing Global Market

SEOUL, Nov. 24, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) today announced organizational changes to take another leap forward towards achieving the Future Vision 2030 announced in July. The changes are being implemented to strengthen organizational capabilities and business competitiveness to realize the vision of transforming into a Smart Life Solution Company that connects and expands various spaces and experiences of customers beyond home appliances.
A key piece of the forward-thinking strategy is the newly-established Overseas Sales and Marketing Company, which will report directly to LG CEO William Cho. The company will be led by Thomas Yoon, who previously served as the president and CEO of LG Electronics North America.
The Overseas Sales and Marketing Company will play a crucial role in accelerating change and growth as well as enhancing LG’s global brand power by discovering and developing opportunities to create customer value. The new organization will manage overseas sales subsidiaries in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Latin America and Asia; Global Marketing Group; and the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Sales Business Group.
The company will not only seek to strengthen executive capabilities in the overseas operations of strategically critical businesses including B2B operations, but also provide necessary support to bolster qualitative growth of all other business units by aiding the development of overseas sales expertise as well as accelerating the advancement of platform-based businesses and innovative D2C business models. The D2C Business Sales Group will take on the role of expanding customer contact points by strengthening Online Brand Shop (OBS) activities and customer data-based digital marketing capabilities.
While maintaining its agile and responsive decision-making system across all four business units, LG will aim to spur further development of original technologies in each business unit and support the company’s business transformation.
The Home Appliance & Air Solution (H&A) Company will establish an engineering sales division under the Air Solution Business to enhance the engineering capabilities to maximize business synergy in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), its core B2B business area. In addition, the Home Beauty Business will be transferred from the Home Entertainment Company to the H&A Company to create synergy with existing strong product lineups in ‘Home’ spaces.
The Home Entertainment (HE) Company is set to further accelerate its transition to become a media and entertainment powerhouse. To strengthen the smart TV operating system webOS, the webOS SW Development Group will be established for direct reporting to Park Hyoung-sei, president of the HE Company. Also, the eXtended Reality (XR) Business Division will be established directly under the headquarters.
Leading the company since 2019, president Park has been promoted in recognition of his contribution to upgrading the company’s business portfolio, improving profitability of premium product lineups and growing the webOS platform while solidifying the company’s position in the global OLED TV market.

I have been trying to get my Google Home and Nest Audio Speakers to turn my LG OLED65C24LA TV on and off.   I have linked ThinQ to Google Home but it still wouldn't work.  So plan B was to get a Chromecast to do this one simple voice activated request....I have no intentions of using Chromecast for anything else!
So this actually does work, however, when asking it to turn the TV on, it defaults to the home page of Chromecast TV, I want it to just open to my normal TV system, which is Sky Q.  Ideally, I would like to disconnect the Chromecast and just get Google Home and ThinQ to do this !!
I have checked every setting and trawled the internet for a solution.  I've posted on the AV Forum in the UK and the Google Forum and I'm waiting on a call back from LG Support UK.
I expected this to be a VERY simple task !!
Can anyone help with this ?
