Cant turn on 2021 OLED TV via HomeKit or ThinQ App

Question

Anyone having issues with Homekit showing 'updating' message after TV have been turned off? (OLED65BX6LB purchased Feb2021)

Can turn off via Homekit...can change inputs. Can use ThinQ to turn off.

Have tried to disable all Eco modes, turn on "Turn on with Wireless" but to no avail.

Anyone found a solution?

@Russell Acton If it has not updated already automatically, get the latest firmware on a USB stick and install it manually, and test your issue again. This is dated 18/2/2021.

[03.21.36]
1. Improved no video issue when switching specific HDMI ports
2. Software update contains minor bug fix (they do NOT say what it is fixing, but you might get lucky)!

Thanks for the response. I will give it a go....I did log vi support but they said “turning on via WiFi is not supported” because the TV is off.

Nothing back from them on the question of “what does your feature ‘turn on via WiFi’ actually do then”. Crickets!

Can older model LG TV get the LG Content Store installed?  If yes, how?

I have a 2020 LG OLED smart tv.  Deezer says it can be played on LG smart TV's, but there is no Deezer app in LG content store (United States).  It appears from earlier questions that people have listened to Deezer on their LG smart tv in the past.  LG chat said Deezer is not supported and I could not get any more information.  Is there a way to use my Deezer subscription on the tv?  thanks

Hi guys, I have an older received (Arcam AVR300) that only support optical input, so I was able to add it manually via Connected Devices, and can control the volume and mute, however I can't turn it off quickly (can only do it via the "..." button and selected sound bar and then power). This work, but is it possible to map this to lets say the top box on/off button or even some other button? Maybe even some cable I would but to make this work. The old remove is dead so I need a way out and the receiver is old and I don't want to keep it on always. Thanks
