After we accepted a software update to version 05.50.95 last weekend, this website no longer works. LG Netherlands cannot help us. They say LG headquarters is not interested in this kind of streaming websites (LG wants sites to develop an app for LG is what LG Netherlands said). Downgrading the software is also not possible since version 05. How are we going to solve this?

Hi. I see you have had no replies after 2 weeks.  This is a user forum only and LG does not care about all the frustrations ( including mine) with their product.  I am not even sure they look at this forum. The old saying " caveat emptor" applies.

LG browser ( OS) is  useless and originally one used by HP a long time ago. As far as I can see, the only thing you can do is get your family a tablet and cast the image onto the big screen.  I use a smart phone, iPad  and PC's and I am disgusted with the outdated technology in the LG I bought a year ago. Wish I had done my research !

I got so fed up with my LG TV lacking streaming I went and bought an  Amazon Firestick and put in one one of the HDMI slots at the back of the TV - now I have no problems streaming.  LG TV technology is poor.

There are a lot of YouTube videos as well that help you to set it up your FireStick. There is one called Tanya Firestick where she even has a live chat every Wednesday to answer questions live.

My LG 49UB850V LED TV  browser is too old. The most of the pages not work any more. How to easy update just one simple browser app? For example, often browser show error during open new page. It show certificate expire problem and page not load at all.
This mean LG sell product without update at least browser certificate and now we are stuck and can not even load one page from WWW.

Shame on you LG. I will not buy any more from you.  How dificolt is to release new update to update OS certificates? Microsoft Windows did this, android did also for old phones, etc... Really, can not undestend this asian people from Korea.

Up until a few days ago my TV and AVR have been working perfectly since I bought it.
Zero hassles with HDMI and connectivity.
Then I was prompted to update to the latest software version which I did and now often when I switch HDMI (running on 1) it picks up the device name, CEC works but I get “No Signal”… and then nothing.
Just stays on “No Signal”. It is almost as if some HDMI handshake breaks and now the driver is in a broken state.
I’ve found that if I hard power off and power on the device sometimes works but I don’t want to do that every time especially since it’s hard to get to the power.
This really strikes me as a software issue with the latest update as absolutely nothing else has changed in my setup.
      I’ve tried:
Different HDMI cables (high quality) Deep colour settings Reset the TV to factory default Different HDMI ports TV
      Model: OLED65G26LA / OLED65G26LA.HFBQLWK WebOS TV Version: 8.3.0.2301 Software Version: 13.30.56 AVR & Devices
Marantz SR5015 Nvidia Shield Pro PS5
The setup is the conventional AVR installation as shown in the attached file

      Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it possible to revert the software update?

I received an update 05.40.45 for my LG 65UM7510PLA TV a few days ago. After I tried to edit the channel list with the ChanSort programme, I noticed that the channel list transferred from the TV to USB was greatly reduced.
This was not a problem with the previous version 05.40.20. Unfortunately, it is not possible to upload the old version via USB.
