I recently updated the firmware on my LG43UH610V. Now I constantly get "Wired Lan cable disconnected" / "Wired network is connected" messages even while watching a video file from my NAS. The TV is connected and using the network while getting these messages. It has always been on a fixed IP address on the LAN.

I updated the software on this LG TV and now no option to turn off WiFi
I need to the WiFi to turn off since they do not want WiFi connected here. I hope there is a way to turn off WiFi.

Hello,
I connected an hard drive to my LG OLED TV via USB. My TV is connected to my home network via Ethernet, as is my computer.
I would like to access the hard disk from my computer. Is this possible? How can I do this with Windows 10?
Note that I don't want to connect my hard drive directly to my computer but to my TV (because my home network is quite unstable).
I thank you in advance for all your help.

Question
CatsPaw
For some reason, on my TV, random phones have the ability to prompt a pop-up asking if they can connect to my TV via wi-fi direct. This is, obviously, quite annoying while I'm in the middle of using my TV for something.
I've never accepted access for any of these phones, and they're not on my wifi network.
My TV is a 43um7300pu and I'm running 5.00.02, which is the current software.
There appears to be no setting to disable connections via wifi direct in the menus.
Is there anything I can do stop these annoying popups?

@CatsPaw I do understand your annoyance with this, and also I think this can open up security concerns. I saw some older posts that stated older firmware DID have an option to turn this functionality
