My 1 yr. old LG OLED “Smart” tv is anything but smart. I should have bought a Samsung. Why can’t the software engineers in this hapless company keep updating new apps such as AT&T Now  streaming service. Must I buy a Roku or Firestick to get that subscription? LG is a pathetic company.

Oled65CX6LA  shows no subtitles when playing movie from NAS only if audio format from the movie is not supported, like DTS.
If audio format is supported, like AC3 then the TV shows subtitles.
So there is in the software a link with the audio format and  subtitles.
      Like:
If audio format is supported then show subtitles (SRT)
If audio format is not supported then show NO subtiles.
It would be nice if this link in the software would be removed

I'm a big fan of LG products but disappointed to see that current issues like losing wi-fi not fixed . Video, sound quality excellent but lost wi-fi and after recurring to people with same issues found a way to do it on my own , a simple cable correction .  Also LG store for apps very limited , not HBO max , no U verse for At&t customers must be updated.   Thanks.

LG 42LB6500 is having trouble with display. Fire TV stick, prime video and set top box video are not getting displayed and only audio works. It looks like this is a software issue (current version 05.05.55) and I am not able to fix it by updating software to 05.05.70 via internet (image below) or through usb. Please advice.
