LG UH7700 Video Issue

Hello,

I have an issue with a 2 year old LG UH7700 4K tv. Please note, the TV went to an authorized LG repair  shop provided by LG itself:

Issue: 3/4 of the screen all of the sudden was not working. It went to black opacity and full black.  

This first occurred one morning when I first started tv. Called LG and it was over the warrant by a year so they provided with a certified tv repair technician. They replaced the LED bulbs and tested by keeping it in for 8 hours while viewing it periodically through the day. They had no issues. They came and mounted it on my wall and within a minute the 3/4 black screen occurred again. They brought it back to the shop. Told us it was faulty led lights they received from vendor. They put new ones in again. They tested it out. No luck. The issue occurred at the shop. They replaced the mother board. Same result. Then they replaced the entire unit the LEDs come on and that fixed the problem. The TV ever looked this good when we first got it. I always had to crank backlight to 100. Now backlight is 50 and the picture was better than before. 2 nights later while watching tv, it happened again.  Now, I turned it off and on 3 times and the picture came back. This morning I turned on TV and the issue came back. Anyone else come across this? Attached is an image.

    • Shortcut to turn off screen

      I'd like a fast accessible shortcut to turn off the screen, eg. when pressing settings, a button on the screen. Or even better, the possibility to configure the speaker off button on the remote to turn off the screen instead. It should work independently of the energy saving feature, so that energy saving is not set to off when the screen is turned on again.   The existing procedure to turn off screen is to complex press settings, press all settings, press energy saving,

    • You Tube TV issue

      Using the You Tube TV app on the LG Web OS. There is a problem that happens on all my 2019 LG TVs with Web OS that does not happen when I use the You Tube TV app on Apple TV with the same TV sets. Periodically the program I am watching stops and the App reverts to the opening screen. It has to be a bug in LG's Web OS working with You Tube TV. I bought 4 large LG TVs because they could support the You Tube App and Samsung could not. LG, you need to look into this and fix it.

    • HDMI ARC To Soundbar not working when turning on each morning

      Oled55C9 tv and SL9YG soundbar connected via ARC HDMI. Works great. Switch on tv in morning and no tv sound through bar. Have to disconnect all tv/soundbar/btbox from mains elec and restart including BT YouView box startup (takes ages) and sound works ok again. Changed soundbar and cables, checked all settings on tv. Absolutely delighted with tv and soundbar (when it works) Any suggestions for a fix?

      Hey there,  I have had a  OLED55B6P for ten months and I love it but I have a problem all a sudden, just today it starts to show a black screen with fire works every minutes if I don't press a button on the remote. I have no eco mode on, no power save modes on, TV firmwire is up to date, and tried turning off on and on the tv. anyone know how to fix?
