Netflix app Dolby Vision/HDR

Hey there,

Does anyone know if it is possible to swap between watching something in Dolby Vision or HDR? 

The issue is when content is available in either option (depending on hardware watching on) the TV will always default to Dolby Vision but I would like the option to watch in HDR because sometimes it is too yellow and the picture setting options are limited in Dolby Vision.

You cannot disable Dolby Vision on your TV's Netflix app without losing 4K entirely. They do not provide an HDR10 stream to devices that support DV.

 

What is almost definitely happening is your TV's Dolby Vision settings are probably wrong. Just as with any other input, and with regular HDR content, there are several preset options to choose from for DV. If yours defaulted to one of the Technicolor presets, most people find those to be too yellow. Scroll through them and find one you like. My personal choice is 'Cinema Home' with all of the Motion Smoothing effects turned off.

      Disney + Dolby Atmos

      Hello to everyone, 
      I'm Ivano from Italy.
      I use Disney Plus on my Lg Tv OLED C2 55" but when I play film  Dolby Atmos don't run. With Apple TV+ or Netflix yes.
      I use also soundbar LG SPD75YA connected with eArc and  Dolby Atmos but also in this case I have Disney Plus issue
       
      I have last firmware and WebOS 23

      Hi,
      I have my LG 4K Smart TV -Model : 43UJ632T.
      I could not able to use the Wireless Keyboard ( Logitech K230) with Builtin Apps like Youtube, Amazon Prime or in Netflix to search. I could able to use only thru Magic Remote. 
      But the same Keyboard is working fine in Google Movies & SunNXT apps.
      Could you please help me in fixing the same.

      Dolby vision on Disney+

      Hi. Have a 77 Oled G2 tv, updated to latest firm.
      Problem is that Dolby Vision is not displayed on Disney + app. Dolby Atmos is not working also.
      The  Disney app is te latest available also.
      On my other tv, a 55 CX which is from 2020, Dolby Vision and Atmos is working fine on the same app, so i dont understand.....
      What can be the problem and is there any fix for this ?

      Netflix buttons keep switching after the latest update

      Hi,
      My problem is that my Netflix app on my LG tv (OLED65B13LA) keeps selecting the leftmost button, it's impossible to scroll the cursor to the right to select another button. I tried resetting the tv to factory defaults - after installing Netflix again the issue is exactly the same.
      I also tried disconnecting the tv from power for a few minutes. Plus I contacted Netflix, but they said I need to contact TV manufacturer before they log a possible bug in the app :/.
      My Amazon Prime app works perfectly fine on the same tv.
      Any thoughts?
