In "CMP settings": there is a huge list of vendors, IAB and Google.
You can deselect consent for those.
However when you go back, in the Google consent are all still enabled.
Reject All doesn;t work. Deselecting individually and clicking "Confirm my choices" doesn't work. The Google ones are back on.
That's really bad, GDPR.

Hello,
I have a TV oled65c5elb with webos25 10.2.1-5504.
I programmed in Home assistant a few Dashboard to contol the TV. I can Switch the Channels from live TV by Home Assistant. But Not in LG Channels or other Apps Like Pluto TV. If someone can Help me, please Post it. Thank you.

Hey All,
I have google TV which connected with HDMI to my LG
It worked perfectly first few days and I was able to fully control the TV with remote
It suddenly stopped working yesterday and i cant contol the tv from remote of the google tv
I did factory reset to google tv but didn't help
I do see that controlling enabled both on tv and streamer but still dead. Any ideas?

For the past few years I have been using a 2nd generation Apple TV to watch YouTube videos on my LG Smart TV, however as of today Apple have disabled their YouTube app for this particular device.
I presumed I would be able to use a YouTube app on my TV to continue watching videos in this way, after all has anyone ever heard of a Smart TV without a YouTube app? Since most new TVs are smart TVs these days most people I know have one and they all have the capability to play YouTube videos, usually you don't even have to download the app as it is one of the ones that comes pre-installed.
However I cannot find a YouTube app in the LG content store. I've not really tried to install new apps on my TV since getting it so I don't know if I'm looking in the right place, or it is one of those things like with smartphones where there are multiple places you can go and download apps from.
Bizarrely though, despite there being no YouTube app, there is a YouTube kids app, so it's not like LG have never heard of YouTube or anything, they just don't seem to have realised that people other than kids watch videos on it.

Why on earth that philippines has no google assistant with LG C8? Seems I saw with their advertisement on youtube that google assistant on LG C8 model is active and can be operated. And even I saw children speaking over the microphone commanding what they want on their tv to show up, and it was amazing it did show up the game they wanted to play, weather, movies, actor of that movie, soundtrack of the movie, really smart and amazing. But why on earth we dont have like that in the philippines with the LG C8. Not worth buying because u got the high end tv one but what u were expecting to have on the tv was not activated. So sad
