I was reading a few articles on the launch of Disney Plus but they did not list any of the tvs such as LG webos or samsung tv. I hope disney plus comes out in lg tvs. Its supposed to launch November 12th in the US for $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. They also said there will be a $12.99-per-month trio bundle of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ that is coming. I'm already doing espn for $4.99, I may do the entire bundle to get hulu also, not sure, At the minimum, I am definitely going to get Disney plus
My Chrome browser version is so old by now that it doesn't work well with many sites.. I don't see how I can update it, but I'm positive there must be a way. Any tips? How do I update my firmware as well?
The LG Content Store is missing from my smart TV so I can’t add any apps. It’s an older smart TV and the ribbon does not look like the newer models. Is it hidden somewhere?
Hello, Is there any way of installing an usb gigabit network adapter on a webos smart TV? The builtin wired adapter is only 100mbps (on a 2000$+ TV, shame on you LG!!!) while the wifi (N) is very poor, with the router at 1m from TV it only gets half the bandwidth of the wired network. Anyway the wired network maxes out near 100mbps but I need more bandwidth as I have 4k video content with bitrates grater than 100mbps which I cannot stream without stuttering to TV through XPLAY/PLEX.
I'm not sure if this is an LG or Apple issue, or if I have to try a different HDMI cable (the package says it's the latest standard) but here's what I've seen so far: I have the AppleTV 4k using Dolby Vision which looks great. 1. When using the AppleTV remote to turn on the AppleTV and LG TV (using LG Simplink), sometimes the video signal is messed up – it's blurry and out of sync. Changing the input to Live TV and then back to the AppleTV fixes it. Sometimes it just works right away.

By AV Network Staff On June 13, 2016
LG Electronics introduced expanded partner solutions for its webOS for Signage platform at InfoComm 2016 last week in Las Vegas, offering new options for business owners deploying digital signage solutions. webOS allows system integrators to download content and develop customized applications that fit their exact needs. With webOS for Signage, LG’s Smart Platform Signage can be updated simply and quickly via a smartphone or tablet. WiFi connectivity eliminates the need for a wired connection or costly network infrastructure.
Optimized for commercial applications, LG’s webOS for Signage is bringing a new level of integrated benefits to businesses deploying digital signage displays. LG’s digital signage displays feature a high-performance system-on-a-chip (SoC) which works with LG’s webOS for Signage platform to lower the cost of ownership by eliminating the need for PCs or external media players.
“Beyond providing customized and functional solutions for business owners and system integrators, LG’s webOS for Signage now offers business owners a swath of customer experience upgrades, cloud-based solutions, mobile accessibility, screen control, multi-touch solutions with LG’s expanded solution partners,” said Garry Wicka, head of marketing for LG Electronics USA.
