Make sure the the Wifi is Turned On on your laptop

Most laptops have a Wifi Button or use a Function Key to turn the Wifi on or off
-- If your laptop has a Wifi Button it should be located on the Keyboard or somewhere on the side of your laptop, pressing the button once will turn the Wifi on or off

-- If your laptop uses a Function Key (F3, F12, Etc.), it will be located on the Keyboard, you will need to press the Fn Key and then press the Function Key (F3, F12, Etc.) to turn the Wifi on or off

Some laptops have an On/Off switch for the Wifi
-- If your laptop has an On/Off switch, simply flip the switch

-- For some laptops pressing the Wifi Button will turn Airplane Mode on or off, when Airplane Mode is Off, the Wifi is On

2. Check if you have a Wifi Icon

Look for a Wifi Icon in the bottom right hand corner of your computer screen
-- If there is no Internet Connection Icon at all, you will need to make the icon visible

3. Make the Internet Icon visible

Click on the Show hidden icons arrow in the bottom right hand corner
Go to Customize
Scroll Down
Look for your Internet Connection
Change the Behavior from Hide icon and notifications/Only show notifications to Show icon and notifications
Click Ok

If still issue exits then check Lenovo G580 Manual for help.

    • Question: LG Content Store

Hi all I hope someone can help me. I recently purchased an LG 55" TV and noticed there is a My Content Menu. When I try and add shows it's only finding them from Prime or YouTube, it doesn't show up searches from NowTv or Netflix. Is the store only able to find titles in Prime or should I be able to search NowTv and Netflix etc via the content store and My content tab?    Hope I haven't confused anyone and hope this makes sense? 🙂   Many Thanks in advance

    • DStv Now launches LG webOS smart TV app

MultiChoice has launched a DStv Now app for LG smart TVs. The majority of LG TVs from 2017 and 2018 running webOS 3.5 and 4.0 are supported. The announcement follows the recent launch of DStv Now apps for Samsung smart TVs, Apple TV, and Android TV media players. The company said the new app is available from the LG App Store on supported TVs. To find out how the DStv Now smart TV app works, check out the hands-on with the service. • Question: 4.0 update for 2016-17 Smart TV

When will the 4.0 update be available for my 2016-17 LG Smart TV?  I just got Alexa and can't use it for the TV unless it has the 4.0 version.  Model #70UH6350-UB.

    • Question: gigabit ethernet on smart TV

Hello, Is there any way of installing an usb gigabit network adapter on a webos smart TV?  The builtin wired adapter is only 100mbps (on a 2000$+ TV, shame  on you LG!!!)  while the wifi (N) is very poor, with the router at 1m from TV it only gets half the bandwidth of the wired network. Anyway the wired network  maxes out near 100mbps but I need more bandwidth as I have 4k video content with bitrates grater than 100mbps which I cannot stream without stuttering to TV through XPLAY/PLEX.  Kind regards,

    • IPv6 support please

It's 2016 now. IPv6 has been around since 1997. Some countries are close to 50% deployment of IPv6. Even my home printer supports IPv6. The Linux kernel, on which webOS is based has been supporting a stable IPv6 implementation since the 2.6 kernel series.   This was certainly my main disappointment when I bought a LG Smart TV.
