I have a Roku device attached to my LG TV model # 55UQ7570PUJ. As I’m watching something on the Roku and using my Roku remote, every now and then something that I press on that Roku remote brings up the LG ‘Select a menu item’ screenwhere AV Reset is highlighted. Any idea what could be happening here? One clue: after I press the undo button on the LG remote to get rid of that window, I find that the volume is all the way down. Maybe I’m hitting the Roku remote’s Mute button in some weird way and that brings up the ‘Select a menu item’ window?
It’s surprising that something I press on the Roku remote brings up an LG dialog, but that’s what’s happening. Thanks for any help.

Across Asia, lifestyle changes are reshaping how people find comfort and care at home. Consumers are turning toward subscription-based living – a smarter and more flexible way to enjoy the latest home innovations.
LG Subscribe is leading this shift with premium products, expert maintenance services and flexible payment plans. From Singapore’s first experiential LG Subscribe Brand Store at Suntec City to Thailand’s rapid growth toward 20,000 subscribers in its first year, we are making more accessible living a reality.
Singapore: A New Era of Smart Living at Suntec City
On August 6, 2025, LG Singapore opened the doors to its first LG Subscribe Brand Store in Singapore at Suntec City – a space that celebrates our vision to make life easier through real solutions tailored to different lifestyles.
To kick off the event, Fabian Kunho Lee, Managing Director of LG Singapore, shared how LG Subscribe blends technology with accessibility and care to begin “a new chapter in customer experience.” After the classic ribbon-cutting ceremony, a vibrant lion dance performance set the tone for an auspicious and energetic start.
Media and key partners toured the experiential store, exploring appliances such as the LG Styler®, washing machines, refrigerators and air purifiers – all available through flexible subscription plans. Product specialists also introduced LG Careship, a routine maintenance service covered by a monthly fee, ensuring that every appliance performs at its best.
Beyond retail, the store is designed as a welcoming space for families. In September, LG Singapore hosted a special Children’s Day event, transforming the store into a lively playground filled with interactive games, creative workshops and sweet treats. This celebration marked the beginning of a series of weekend experiences that make family time part of the LG Subscribe journey.
Thailand: Celebrating One Year of Growth and Innovation
In Thailand, LG Subscribe has quickly become a leader in the home appliance subscription market since its launch in October 2024. LG Thailand surpassed 10,000 subscribers in just nine months and are on track to reach 20,000 as its first anniversary approaches.
To celebrate this success, LG Thailand recognized outstanding Lifestyle Planners (LPs) and Lifestyle Sales Managers (LSMs) at the 2025 LSM Awards in July. Their dedication and customer-first mindset have been key to the program’s rapid expansion. The subsidiary also launched LG Subscribe Friends, an influencer initiative that invites creators to share authentic stories about how subscription living enhances everyday life in Thailand.
LG Thailand has successfully expanded its service network to 50 areas nationwide. With three LG Subscribe Complex Centers already open in Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima and Hat Yai, it plans to increase the number to seven by year’s end. The next milestone is to broaden its product portfolio to 14 categories and 100 models – making it easier for every Thai household to enjoy the comfort, convenience and peace of mind that define the company’s Life’s Good promise.
LG Subscribe is redefining home living across Asia through flexibility, care and innovation. Whether through Singapore’s engaging in-store experiences or Thailand’s nationwide growth, we continue to show how our commitment to convenience and comfort makes Life’s Good – every day, everywhere.

At LG, we’ve always believed that the kitchen is the true heart of the home – a place where innovation meets creativity, and where Life’s Good can be experienced in every meal. To celebrate this spirit, LG Australia teamed up with MasterChef Australia to inspire home cooks across the country to embrace their culinary confidence. To mark the collaboration, LG Australia hosted A Taste of the Good Life – an exclusive event that gave guests an immersive culinary experience and a chance to see our innovative kitchen solutions in action.
Held shortly after the finale of MasterChef Australia Season 17, the event brought together media and influencers at the Are Media test kitchen in Sydney. Hosted by Declan Cleary, third runner-up MasterChef contestant and LG ambassador, the event showcased how our appliances make it easier for anyone – from beginners to passionate home cooks – to create delicious meals with confidence.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with a unique touch of LG hospitality: their coats were steamed and refreshed using the LG Styler, ready for pick-up at the end of the evening. Each was also gifted an LG x MasterChef Australia apron and chef’s hat to set the tone for culinary inspiration both at the event and back at home.
The program commenced with Shannon Tweedie, Home Appliance Solutions Marketing Manager at LG Australia, who shared the story of our partnership with MasterChef Australia. Martin Kim, product specialist at LG Australia, followed with a demonstration of how features like the InstaView refrigerator contribute to great recipes by keeping ingredients fresher for longer.
The highlight of the event was a cooking masterclass led by Declan Cleary. Together with Martin, he showcased the versatility of the LG 6-in-1 InstaView oven, walking guests through its different cooking modes while preparing a selection of dishes designed to spark inspiration for everyday cooking.
Following Declan’s masterclass, guests participated in a series of three interactive and educational workshops. First, cocktail specialist Jenna Hemsworth led a master mixology session, where she demonstrated LG’s slow melting craft ice feature and how it can elevate any cocktail creation. Next, Are Media’s resident food stylist, Michelle Cranston, hosted a food photography masterclass, sharing her expertise on plating and capturing Insta-worthy shots. Finally, Declan Cleary returned with his “sauce it, sear it, style it” workshop, bringing the magic of MasterChef Australia to life while showcasing the fast-heating capabilities of the LG Induction cooktop.
Throughout the event, guests also had the chance to experience our broader lineup of home and entertainment solutions – from the CordZero vacuum and StanbyME to the OLED C5 TV.
As a nod to the iconic MasterChef Australia Mystery Box challenge, guests were invited to guess how many ingredients were stored inside our InstaView French Door Fridge. The lucky winner, announced at the end of the event, took home their very own LG InstaView fridge – fully stocked with fresh ingredients to kickstart their culinary adventures.
Before heading home, every guest received co-branded cookware from LG and MasterChef Australia – a small but meaningful gift to keep the inspiration going long after the event.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising both the interactive workshops and the practical demonstrations. More than just a showcase, A Taste of the Good Life brought our complete kitchen solution to life in a way that was fun, memorable and inspiring.
With MasterChef Australia, we’re not just demonstrating innovation – we’re helping Australians discover new confidence in the kitchen, proving once again that when it comes to life at home, Life’s Good.

What if technology didn’t just support creativity, but became the canvas itself? In Hong Kong’s iconic West Kowloon Cultural District, that vision came to life through Tenka Taihei, a one-of-a-kind Art Tech x Music performance held at Freespace. At the heart of the experience was LG SIGNATURE OLED T, the world’s first wireless transparent OLED TV, transforming innovation into a living, breathing part of the show.
Tenka Taihei, meaning “Peace Under Heaven,” evokes a sense of harmony, stability and hope for the future. It’s a fitting theme in an ever-shifting world. Conceived by musician and creative director Kendy Suen, the performance blends live music, digital calligraphy, projection visuals and interactive sound installations into one immersive experience.
For Suen, the transparent nature of LG SIGNATURE OLED T was more than a technical feature – it was symbolic of the harmony between technology and human connection. “Like a protective yet open fortress,” he explains, “it lets audiences see beyond barriers and connect with the broader world,” reflecting the delicate balance of strength and openness at the heart of Tenka Taihei.
This collaboration is part of LG’s broader belief in “brave optimism” – that even in uncertain times, innovation and creativity can spark hope, foster connection and inspire joy. Through the power of Tenka Taihei, LG explores how technology can move beyond functionality to become a medium for storytelling and cultural exchange, demonstrating that the most powerful innovations enrich human experiences.
As part of the performance, the LG SIGNATURE OLED T became a dynamic digital canvas that blurred the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds. Visual artist Moon Hung, renowned for his real-time artistic creations, used the transparent OLED in harmony with projection mapping and an interactive soundscape, crafting visuals that appeared to float effortlessly in mid-air.
Audiences could take in every intricate detail up close, even in scenes composed of more than two million individual radicals. The screen’s transparent nature allowed them to see both the calligraphy performance and the surrounding space at once, creating the illusion that on-screen visuals were seamlessly integrated into the environment. The result was an elegant synchrony of art, sound and technology – a multi-layered journey where viewers could see sound and hear calligraphy.
The performance left many audience members in awe of its seamless fusion of art and technology. The transparent OLED screen, in particular, captivated their curiosity and admiration, enveloping them in mesmerizing visuals that appeared to drift effortlessly through the space.
