For the love of... please allow me to turn off that annoying remote pointer on the tv

I haven't searched this forum, but there has to be others who find that tv remote pointer to be extremely annoying. I'm actually surprised that we still can't turn that feature off. Having the cursor/pointer feature isn't even close to the importance of being able to shut off. I mean, how hard is to put one checkbox in the ui to toggle the feature on or off? It seems like a no-brainer, big bang for the buck change that many users would appreciate

I use any of the arrow keys on my remote and the cursor/pointer disappears. Job done.

That's not a good solution, particularly when you're using another interface like Firestick because using the cursor will change something on the Firestick interface (e.g. reverse, fast-forward a movie, scrolling a page, etc). They should give the user an option to turn it off all together because it conflicts with other software. It's generally more annoying than useful anyway

I have been trying to turn the mouse pointer since I bought the TV andthere’s no real help except stupid answers like move the arrow button.

 Good luck I’m thinking about calling LG and asking or demanding they give us the ability to turn off the mouse pointer. this last update it is so much worse that I’m going to go out and buy a different remote control and it ruins how good the magic remote is. I actually like it except for the mouse pointer.
