, we lost something near and dear to our multitasking hearts: the mini card view. With the addition of card stacks in webOS 2.0, Palm made the decision to drop the easy-rearranging miniature cards to enable the stacking of cards. The slowed things down a bit when it comes to moving your cards around, but that's how it has to go sometimes.

Or so we thought. webOS 3.0 carried over the same card stacks, and they're also present in Open webOS. But when HP decided to open source part of webOS 3.0.5 as the , it didn't take long for the crew working on the to re-implement mini-cards in conjunction with card stacks.

Seeing as Open webOS is more or less an open source version of webOS 3.0.5, it shouldn't come as a surprise that tweaks and enhancements from LunaCE are making their way into . Such as… mini cards! As posted onto the Twitters by (known 'round these parts as ShiftyAxel), cards in the Galaxy Nexus port can now get their tiny on. So, fear not, they're not just porting Open webOS over and making it look pretty - improvements are happening too.

Greetings Touchpad users! The webOS Nation Forums went down this month -- unceremoniously redirected to some crappy review site, despite the community's pleas to let us save or preserve it in some fashion. As a result, we're looking here (and other places) for some kind of community forum!
For those who visit here, I wanted to let you know that despite all recent set-backs, the legacy webOS community is alive and well, still using our Touchpads, Pres, Pixis and Veers in 2023!
Resources to get online, apps to try out, and lots of other things to do can be found at webosarchive.org
We've also got a Discord server going -- it even connects to webOS Devices, through a modern app called SimpleChat. Come join us at docs.webosarchive.org/community

      Hi Team,
After update of LG WebOS to 04.40.70, Amazon Prime Video app on my LG Smart TV stopped working. It started giving error :
      Internet Connectivity Problem
There is an internet connection problem. Check the device's internet settings, data cables, or try to resetting your router. Also, turning your device off, and then back on might fix the problem. For further assistance, please contact Amazon customer service at www.amazon.com/videohelp
The internet/wifi connection is fine and all the other apps are working without any issue on the LG smart TV.
I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Prime video app, but that didn't help.
Has anyone faced this issue ? Is there a solution available for this issue.
      Thanks & Regards,
      Nitin

      Hi all,

I have currently installed WebOS version 3.21.30, but I need at least 4.0 for Paramount+. Do you have a rough idea, when this will be possible?

      Cheers,
      Ingo

I have a 55UH650V Smart TV Which i'm lovin...  But I can't seem to get the live tv pause to work with a USB drive..   I bought a 64GB USB 3.0 drive which works for general program recording and playing music, picture files on the TV etc... But when I try to pause live tv it says it cant work with this drive choose another?

Is there anywhere that specifically advises on USB spec for this function?

Kinda think it should be in the manual but i cant find it...
