Maybe it's time to stop hating on HP?

Hate is an incredibly intense emotion. Hate implies that you want to see the object of that emotion ended at all costs, be it the weather, your nemesis, or that untrained dog next door that barks through the night at nothing and everything. Hate is consuming, hate is destroying, hate is by and large wholly counterproductive. Hate is simply not good.

It has been thirteen months since

in . It was a fit that was utterly destructive to the future of webOS and the community as a whole, and those who work on and with the operating system for a living and those of us who for various reasons care about webOS have slowly recovering from that most improvident decision. Heck, HP's been struggling to recover from the decision, having been forced to and in the process.

Yet still, well over a year after the ax fell and the planned future of webOS was shunted to the side, I still find on a regular basis hate towards HP. The words still ring out in the comments and the forums, "I hate HP!" and "Damn you HP!" and so forth. HP as a company has changed in many ways since August 2011, not the least of which includes a new CEO in Meg Whitman to replace the failed and disastrous tenure of her predecessor, Leo Apotheker.

I recently bought a LG TV with WebOS version 8.1 and have a frustrating issue.
I have a usb disk with all my family photos & videos archive in it.
We love to browse through the pictures and videos on big screen.
But current LG TV media player displays either pictures or videos. I want to see them in the order they were captured.
It would be great to enable this feature when "Photos & Videos" filter is selected.

Is there a way or another app to view photos & videos at the same time? (slideshow)

      Hi,
      New user on here.
I bought this new TV last week and it is honestly driving me bananas.
When I click "Home" after using an App, etc, it brings me to the WebOS interface but then automatically selects the last used device (e.g. Fire stick, LG Channels, etc) despite me not wanting it to.
Is it possible to disable this, i.e. "Home" brings me to WebOS and stays there? I'm sure its a setting etc which I'm missing.
Device is LG UQ91 43 inch 4K Smart UHD TV, pretty sure its all up to date.
      Thanks in advance.

I don't believe this is currently an option so forgive me if I'm wrong. But it we oukd be great to have an option to switch between bright room and dark room modes at a user specified time. My room is dark at night but fairly bright during the day. So, I'd love to have the option to switch modes at a defined time, much like a blue light filter on a phone. I want bright mode from 7am to 8pm and dark from 8pm to 7am, etc.
Aside from that I'd like to be able to turn the remote mouse off completely if desired.
